I don't get how he survived that fall.
If you didn't see the last scene of S3?
Or read the comics? 7 year to over a decade spoilers:

Yeah that scene didn't register to many. It made little sense, if you didn't know the details it was referencing.
That later "ability" is not what people think of when they think off Bullseye.

Two really great episodes. I love having Daredevil back.

The final scene of episode 2 was excellent, you could just see him snap and make his decision.

He knows he needs to become the Devil of Hells Kitchen again

The dynamic between Murdock and Fisk is excellent, as always.

To me, it feels exactly like a continuation of the Netflix series.

It feels good to have this character and world back on our screens again.

The week long wait between episodes is going to be really hard.

i gave this a shot since my buddy swore it was good and i don't get how people think the Netflix shows are good. 10 mins in and he's already doing the autistic screeching and crying. fight choreography is boring and episode 2 wasn't much better. i don't know why zoomers think screeching like an autist sounds cool, and Daredevil of all ******* people crying all the time is so stupid. Cox's Murdock isn't good and his Daredevil is even worse.

plus this version of "Daredevil" still has zero of the ninja **** he has in the comics.

Well between the ninja **** you love, he's also an angsty guilt ridden tortured Catholic, it's always a fine balance. :lol

and like a good Irish Catholic he deals with it by suppressing it and other self-destructive behavior. his therapy is beating the hell out of people, not screeching and crying on roof tops lol.

I did think that was a bit much. Cox is a decent actor so I think that was the director's fault.

Here we disagree; I get what they were trying to do with Bullseye but it kinda left me cold, but the final scene worked for me.

my problem with it is, as an aficionado of kung fu movies my standards are skewed. i don't say this as a brag because it tends to affect my experience with movies negatively, IE bad fight choreography will take me out of something i was previously enjoying. DD is a very athletic character, and i don't think Cox has anywhere near the athleticism to sell it. not to mention we know Marvel CAN deliver great fights because Winter Soldier is still some of my favorite fighting in movies, and Shang-Chi also had great fights. DD is a brawler, if we're not gonna get his ninja aspects they should be nailing the fights and it doesn't hit for me personally.

Oh I get it, I love martial arts movies and I'm a combat sports guy; I give film and tv a little pass up to a point but DD has always been uneven for me so I go in knowing this. That said, having only seen it once
I was satisfied with the dirty cop beatdown.

The angst, is because of the dark guilt in enjoying it.

Silvera from way back:

To the contrary my issue isn't with Silvera (who is back on S4), and nailed the gritty grounded character fights and DDs will to keep going.
It's with the bloated cartoon ninja ***** Disney CG, which renders the fighting style and weight meaningless. It started with DDs campy appearance on SHulk and the clowning of Kingpin in Hawkey, and has now infested this series.

They need to strike a better balance between the two.
