Mhmmm, alright, I'll shut my hole then :lol till I see the end.

But so far he seems over-acted to me.

He came off as over-acted to me also, but as the show progressed, it got more and more appropriate for the show and just how his portrayal of Fisk is. Give it time :lol

Kind of sucks that DeKnight won't be back for season two.

I thought the same thing, at first, but, truthfully, I understand it, completely. He's responsible for all of the Netflix series, correct? So, I don't know how he'd be able to find the time to do DD Season 2, if he's also the showrunner on Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, all one after the other.

I love how overacted Kingpin is, because it seems like Fisk, himself, is putting on a performance, and that's exactly what he does.

Finally finished it tonight. Very good show overall. Have to disagree with Gaspar, I loved Fisk. In fact, the finale with him trying to reach Vanessa reminded me a bit of the ending of Carlito's Way. Daredevil was Benny Blanco from the Bronx in that scenario :lol

It took a few episodes of D'Onofrio's Fisk to realize what he was going for. Once he "met that Russian," I knew he was legit. So good.

I'm also sad that DeKnight isn't coming back. He is just so good. I really liked Spartacus (first few seasons were amazing). Wish he would at least direct one episode or help in some fashion.

I'm halfway though the series now.

Kingpin is such a disappointment, he's written great, but he's portrayed horribly by what's his face, seriously, every single villainous figure big and small give more compelling performances than that dude.

Yup, I said it before too, his performance is just way too over the top and doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the show.

Wilson Fisk was great. You could tell that he was unhinged given his childhood and the performance really shone in that aspect.

Great news on Season 2, I just hope we don't get unrealistic expectations from fans and an overwhelming amount of hype.

Would Fisk be characterized somewhere on the Autism spectrum, I wonder? He seems to be a remarkably intelligent individual, but, as far as emotional maturity goes, he, literally, is like a child. He seems to have a difficult time expressing himself and channeling his emotions properly.

Possibly! Although it could just be argued that he didn't necessarily have time to mature emotionally, he was thrust into adult life from the second he;

bashed his father's skull in

This TV show was the bomb!! It had a great cast and story for the first season, and all the little Easter Eggs here and there. Cannot wait for the 2nd season next year!

Elektra or Bullseye wouldn't be too soon. I'm super happy they both got referenced in the first season and cause Bullseye is in my top 5 favorite Marvel villains. though I really really really really wanna see Shadowland adapted sometime.

Enjoying it. DD just showed his blind master the door. So far I like everyone in the their roles except the Vanessa chick. The actress just doesn't look good talking. I think it's the bucky beav's or something.
