well because i sat at work hitting refresh instead of going to lunch at my normal time i missed signing for jabba and his throne. dangit! i'll be out of town till saturday so i guess i'll get to see jabba then. at least, hopefully, i'll get my darkness order in. oh why so much secrecy with sale time and ES?

We're in the middle of an ice storm - power out - here on Long Island (NY), and I am writing this on my laptop...connected via my cell phone to the internet, and being powered by a generator.
I wish for once Sideshow would stop ******* around with these preorder times and post 'em when they say they will.
This REALLY pisses me off.

Did you miss the part where Dusty said that she has NO control over when the items get posted on the site? Cut her some slack.

They® didn't announce a preorder time.
On an unofficial fan site, Dusty said that it would hopefully go up anywhere between 9 and 10 unless something went wrong.
So the use of "hopefully" should have clued us in that there was no time set in stone. And she also made a point to prepare us for a delay.
There was no official announcement at sideshowcollectibles.com that "Darkness WILL go up for preorder Wednesday at exactly 9 AM."
We got an hour long possible/hopeful window along with a disclaimer. Let's take it easy on poor Dusty.
But BSHERRIS--You might just be the most devoted fan I have ever seen!! I hope your power comes back soon, and I hope you are among the first to get your order in for Darkness--no matter how or when it happens!!

But why complicate pre order when sideshow could send all pre order in same time and not make people waiting, don't want to not sleep just for pre order item when release all in same time is possible

My point was that "as an organization" they never gave us a specific time. They just said to watch the site on Wednesday. If it goes up on Thursday indtead, then we can accuse them of not doing what they said they would do.
But I do sympathize with your sitatuation and I hope you get your order in.
It sounds like 1 PM PST is the best time to check. Although it could be later. If it isn't posted on the web site, any time you hear is just a good guess.
