That there were absolutely no promises as to WHEN the item would be active on the site for pre-order... just sometime today.

When all of you Sideshow apologists are done, the fact is that information was "leaked" by Sideshow staff yesterday afternoon/evening, and it turned out to be bogus.

i feel your pain. i had the same kinda crap today, snow, ice, power, surgery, blah. but i asked a very kind soul to order for me. took alot off my mind, even tho i was able to make it to the comp to order. definitely not Dusty's fault. and SS probably didn't expect this kinda turnout/attention or it woulda set up a PPO.

DEFINITELY unexpected! We always knew this figure was awesome from a design perspective, but didn't expect the level of love he has received... but it's really great to see it... especially because this is my favorite from the whole show :chew

So, are the SS number crunchers trying to figure out how many they can now make before putting the PO up, after realising just how popular he is???

Anybody sitting in a dark, frozen basement logging on to the site via a cell phone and power generator deserves our respect, admiration and encouragement. Sounds like a true fan to me!!!

When he finally gets that order in, it will be hard earned and cherished.

Wow, not good.

We were only down in Port Jeff for a few hours. I'm at work and one of our patients worked for LIPA so we got a crew out here ASAP. Sometimes you get lucky I guess.

Sorry, but it wasn't intended as a 'leak' - we were all (on this board, me included) going by the times that the orders were posted on Monday as a measuring stick. I'm sorry if you feel that you have been misled.

If anyone, you can blame me for pestering her as to the P.O. times a few days ago, changes were made, she said hopefully and this was never definite... and in seeing this will be open ended ES (note: changes to avoid "Dooming" Collectors with undersized ES) none of us has anything to worry about...
