In Dr. Farnsworth's voice, "Good news everyone! I received my Darkness PF finally. The bad news is, he has minor scratches in the paint on his skin in a few places."

I would love to return him, but unfortunately I am worried about the nightmare of returning him, and the potential of getting a worse-in-condition one back. The worse part I have to look forward to is paying yet another insane duties fee on top of that.

What does one do in my shoes? Man, if only SideShow had a Warehouse in Canada. btw Duties = $78 Cdn which is pretty much the same in US dollars. :emperor

Hard call to make there, pay the extra and hope you get a better one, or just stick with a sub-par Darkness.

For me I would send it back, no way I could have those imperfections in it.

Yes, please take pics as King suggested. If it's minor paint scratches only, it might be worth touching up yourself rather than having to pay those crazy duty fees again. Sorry to hear about this Eli.

Anyway, it's a gorgeous piece. You guys will love him. Pain in the ass to get on that base.. but once he's on there.. WOW! I am going to take pictures and post them ASAP. Just need to find some batteries that actually work. I am hoping earliest, tonight.. latest, tomorrow or Sunday.

But I'll def. have pics up this weekend. Even if I wanted to send out the Darkness PF I don't think the Post Office in my country is open during weekends.

Well looking forward to seeing your pics so we can survey the damage. I really hope it's something that you can just touch up yourself....but if the scratches are deep, then I would probably send it back. Too bad SSC wouldn't cover your duty fees since they sent you a damaged PF.
