thanks guys... it was a hard decision to let these go, but absolutely worth it if everything comes about as planned. I do worry though about what if these figures went for less than I normally get, when I do the upgrades as a standard commission, plus the cost of the figure. And not wanting to feel like everything is about money, lol... but considering these are my own pieces.... that would be.... painful, lol

Also the dollar/pound thing is against me I think, seeing as 'most' collectors online are in the USA (not all, I've shipped pretty much everywhere... but most)

If i'm going to sell these particular pieces, it would need to be worth it. But I'm not sure how to achieve that... (I wish I could give them away, because I know some of you really want them, lol... but... y'know)

I'm still trying to decide just how to do the auction. Set a buy it now... or a normal auction started at the minimum I want..... or an auction started lower with a reserve.

I imagine you could get quite a pretty penny for your customs Darren!! Your third option sounds the safest, since if it's bid pretty high, you will do well, but if it doesn't meet the reserve, you are not compelled to sell it.

this is one of those rare customs out there that you see and think "holy crap!" and then nothing else for about 5 mins coz you're stuck staring at it and can't look away. i know about the £ vs $ thing - it sucks. but trust me, people from all over the world will see this and go for it. i'll make it my personal mission to advertise it in as many places as i can.

I wanted to give people a bit of advance warning before the figure went up, and, despite the fact that I already do many, many figures for people... one of the things I've always dreamed about is releasing a new figure Sideshow (or Hot Toys) style... and getting to do the whole preview/pre-order thing.
