Love the comparison pics.

Next to the 1/3 Cinemaquette, Malgus looks like Vader's mini-me.

I will say it again. Costume design came a long way since the 70s. This Malgus costume looks so much better than Vader's. Only thing that looks good about the Vader costume is the helmet. I would still buy a 1/4 Vader statue because of his iconic status but if he were being designed in 2013 he would look much better.

Nah, this one rarely has any qc or broken issues. It happens but so rare on this one. If it was ivy, rogue, psylocke then it's a different story. SS has up their game. Qc and cs has improved so much the last few months.

Have to disagree there. I still think Vader has the coolest costume in the Star Wars galaxy. Could not have been done better IMO. The great Ralph Mcquarrie was a true visonary.

Totally agree. Some designs are timeless, like Robocop, and Vader. No improvements or mods needed.

Malgus is probably my 2nd favorite character design in the SW universe, but Vader was and will always be the best. I couldn't disagree more with your statement that the only thing good about Vader is the helmet. He is perfect from head to toe.

Sorry to hear this. I know how you feel as you know my luck was so bad. But lately ss has sent me 5 statues with only one minor issue. No major issues at all and even if something is wrong the returns dept is there to help just like the old days. Something has change for the better at SS. I'm so glad they are listening to the buyers. I'm sure SS will take good care of you with a replacement for a broken leg and the droids they will send you the correct part. Take pics when you get a replacement. He's amazing! Collecting is so much more fun now that SS has our back. Thanks for keeping us buyers in mind! if service stays this good we all promise to keep spending!

Tell that to those who have had to deal with the incompetent returns department, who have waited for months and received stuff in much much worse condition, and the customers who are having their accounts closed by SS because they are not happy with how they are being treated. No no no no sir! The only back SS has is their own.

Ok I guess I can forgive you especially seeing that you have Thrawn trilogy in hardcover which I don't even have. If you happen to come by another set of those three in hardcover I would be interested in purchasing them. I still have to check out this new book store that carries used books. One of my buddies said they had a decent SW section. So hopefully I can find a few novels in hardcover.

Oh!! Loading some photos now should have them up on the boards shortly.
