Delays are disappointing. I'm only going o collect these for so long. As opposed to making more gross profit on each piece SS should focus on dropping price while turning stock faster and more frequently. Sell more, more money, larger buyer group, more branding.

I'm pretty new to collecting on here, but I'm starting to notice that SS does this a lot for their releases. Does anyone get a valid reason why, via email or anything? Conversion or not, I can't blame anyone who'd wanna ditch out after a push back like this. I'd be pissed too, and I don't even have a PO for this dude. I love Sci-Fi and Star Wars, but not enough to drop nearly $400 for this seldom known gaming character. Master Chief is a different story.

Delays are all part of this hobby but it isn't just SS, it's pretty much the same with all big names like HT, EB etc.
Saying that I think EB are pretty good now, were they used to be terrible

The troubling part is that SS seems to be getting worse and worse with their delays.

Thinking of jumping on the EX waitlist after seeing the delay.
Might get a better chance of converting.

Are we 100% sure the armor will light up? It's pretty vague in the new pics.
Is SSC also adding an AC outlet?

To be honest, I really don't get why people get upset about delays. I love this hobby but to get worked up when something does not go out the door when they initially speculated that it would seems silly. As long as they don't cancel the line all together I'm cool with it.

Think of it this way, if you have this money for the product sitting in the bank then each month it gets delayed is more you profit on interest. So it's in your best *interest* for them to push some of these deadlines back a few months. :rotfl

Or in some of our cases, a few extra months delay gives us more time to figure out where that new shelf is going to be built to hold it. ;)

this particular case has been pushed back 3 times now.. 13 months and counting is redicolous. SSC has $300 from me already since a while and is working with my money

I think flex-pay is only good for in-stock items.
If it's a PO why not just keep the money in your vault every month,
and not worry about release dates?

:wave

I don't worry about release dates. The only time I think about release dates is when Sideshow sends a delay email.

I like using Flexpay on some collectibles because then I don't have to pay one lump sum at one time. It helps out especially when several collectibles are due to ship in the same timeframe. :wave
