Both the ones I had with broken legs would stand fine on their own with no glue even, so I wouldn't think it would be hard to fix.

Both the ones I had with broken legs would stand fine on their own with no glue even, so I wouldn't think it would be hard to fix.
Because it took me so long to get a completely working Malgus I ended up with an extra base and saber. Do these types of things have any value? I am unsure if they work or not because I was never sure if the base, saber arm or internal electronics of the body was what was causing the issue. I always see parts listed but never sold on eBay.

Yes, moreso the saber than the base, but I am sure someone could use a base.

On a side note, I changed the batteries out with the local ones we use here, and the lights are so much brighter now. Damn SS, where are you getting your advice on electronic accessories from?!

I absolutely recommend everybody use lithium batteries in their collectibles if batteries are needed. More expensive yes, but they last longer (both juice wise and life time) and because it has a lot less liquid in it essentially it won't leak acid and corrode later >< Spend the extra few bucks on em....

No, there's no warm up. The lightsaber is the brightest, then the chest, followed by the face and arms. I think the lights are brightest when he is pluged in, as opposed to using the batteries.

So I just got charged $38 for the shipping of the lightsaber alone from US to Asia (where I live).
Why.So.Expensive. But I don't feel like I should be complaining, I can't believe they managed to find a replacement for me after my original one snapped, since every other time I asked them for one they said they didn't have any stock left. Plus they were super nice about it and all. Feeling really happy about how this whole thing panned out.

I just acquired a brand new PF Dark Malgus today… My 4th SSC statue and my very 1st premium format…
Unfortunately I was shocked to see that the brown shipping box had a huge slash made by the US Customs & Border Protection… it didn’t stop there though… the cut was so deep they slashed until the styrofoam … I was so disappointed to see my 1st PF box ruined… Any deeper and they would have slashed the fabric cape… luckily the cape was not slashed
Has anyone encountered a similar experience with box being slashed by US customs?

Wow, that is amazingly bad judgement. Glad to hear that the piece made it.
Shipping cost would kill that. You should send a letter to the customs, no excuse for that kind of treatment, it would have been easier to just open the box the right way. I would file a damage claim with them if that is even possible.

Geez! What stopped them from slashing straight down the middle?
I've never heard of this happening before. They usually cut the tape that holds down the flaps. You know... the normal way of opening a shipping box.

Well as I mentioned before, SSC shipped a new saber to me last month since the cathode in my old one broke. Crazy shipping cost, but my Malgus is alive and kickin once again 
So all this being said, I don't think I'll ever be able to display him with a fitting pose in a detolf, so I'll leave that space for some other statue that I'll probably get in the near future (PF Vader? If he fits...), too bad the Ikea Bestas aren't being sold anymore, I'd have jumped at those.

There's a good possibility Vader PF will be even taller than Malgus since it will be on a staircase base. We'll see.
With how tall their 1/6 scale Vaders are, plus the staircase, the new Vader PF will probably be as tall as the Sauron PF.

Yeah I was so shocked when I saw actual box was slashed... I'm just thankful "they" didn't hit any parts of the figure
