I've never really seen pics of this piece (other than the Sideshow stock photos) and I must say it's really impressive looking. The detail is amazing, and probably even more so in person (which is the way it always goes.) I'm not that big of a Star Wars fan but my hat goes off to this one. Congrats to those who own one. :chew (I figured the Wookie was appropriate.)

mine is 548/1000

This once my first SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES piece.
I am a huge maul fan so when I saw this on SC site I had to have him.
He was sould out at the time but I found it on ebay.
from my hole collection he is the most expensive one.
The hole adventure of him getting here from australia end up costing me almost 1k.
expensive but he was brand new. even the hood was sealed in the bag and he was so clean and polystone freshness just exploded out of the box.

Maul bust is just amazing. I always think he is going to jump at me and strike me down.

:lol :lol :lol

As a proud owner of this bust, I can say that I don't think I will need another Maul collectible .... period. It is just THAT good. :maul

The pics on here with the 1:1 Maul next to the PF Maul look phenomenal. The two compliment each other beautifully. Nice job P!X4R and SOLIDSNAKE.

Ok guys this is Darth maul # 381 (I Think!) i just got this a couple of days ago from a collector and paid top dollar for it. Advertised at brand new factory sealed i was sooooo excited about getting it :monkey5 even at its high price when :gun !!!!BANG!!!! i my heart sank, upon opening it i noticed a very small mark on his face! this was indeed factory sealed as it had ssc QC tamper-proof sticker over joint in polystyerine packaging. If anyone can offer me some advice as to what to do i would really appreciate it.
Thanks
DMC

Had it but sold it. Never really liked having the head of Maul in my collection. Heads do nothing for me I guess:confused:

Is the mark you're referring to on his left cheek? Inspect it carefully and make sure that the white spot isn't some of the packaging from the box. I had the same issue with a Stealth Iron Man I just bought recently. I thought it was chipped paint, but it was just some styrofoam stuck on to him. If it IS a paint chip, then I would don't know what to suggest (since it isn't the sellers fault since it was in a sealed box) And SS may not be able to help, since they're long sold out there :( Best of luck to you though!!!

Yeah just on the red on His left cheek.
its deff paint defect, like you say not sellers fault as it was unopend! i might email sideshow but not sure what there likely to come up with as i did not buy it direct from them? I have a horrible feeling im screwed!:sick

Easy fix, nothing some carefully applied red acrylics can't fix. Don't worry man, it is fixable.

I had two, my other other one is still fresh and sitting in it's box. These are pics of the one I sold.:D

Man, you forked out a pretty penny to get TWO of these, even at retail!!! But don't you want to display the other one you have instead of just letting it sit in the box?!?! I understand people like to preserve things, but I would llike to enjoy the AWESOMENESS and look at them sitting on display :D

You're hardly screwed. I doubt most people would even notice. You can try using a tiny dab of red acrylic paint to cover it up. Just use a very small amount -- just enough to cover the white. Ideally you would do some mixing to match the color, but I would think any shade of red would be better than white.

+1 my friend :) Just try doing a little research about the paint color. You may even want to contact SS and see if you can get an exact paint color used for this piece... But it's a rather small spot so you're good :D
