Sorry I never got to it, shuffling things around while I try to sort out display options. Here's one, not award winning photography but should give you some idea of how they compare. Both do look better in person I think.

Kenobi looks great. He's a really underrated bust.

Yours do a better job than mine at making the red of Maul's face not look plasticky. They do both look great. For Old Ben, I know some were put off by the SS site pics, and some even don't like the likeness of the in person ones, but to me he looks fantastic. IIRC the sculptor used some old images of Sir Alec Guinness in another movie where he appeared clean shaven, in order to better get the shape of his cheek and jawline. I think that might be why some people don't "see" Kenobi in it perfectly, and maybe that's right. But it's definitely Guinness, and I think it'll go perfectly with the younger Guinness face of the Mythos when that shows up

I remember seeing that video on how they sculpted the Ben bust. And I agree I can definitely see Guinness in it. The Mythos Kenobi is one of Sideshow's best pieces of all-time. It should look great with the Ben LSB.

Thanks! I actually have the bust and saber on top of a Besta full of only Maul stuff. Its kind of a Maul shrine I guess lol.

I wish there was a bit more life in the obi wan bust, the straight almost death stare thing works for maul but not as much for obi. IMO of course

I do see what you're saying. To me in person it looks more akin to these shots, a sort of weary, tired face of an old man. The menacing look of Maul differs I think due to how his pupils are at the top edge of his eyes, as if he's glaring up at someone. Like i said I think Kenobi looks contemplative or even sad. All subjective of course, yes

These show a bit of the difference from the sculpt, too. Most noticeable to me is how "square" the bottom of the beard is cut in these pics.

I've read that these "less than (insert number here)" on SS's website are never accurate though...

Opportunity to get one of these for a fair price. Seems to be love/hate, but I like it. Curious to know the actual weight, though.
