Yeah, two different sabers for the price of one? Great deal. Plus it's more limited and it's battle damaged. And it fits centered in bestas.

I honestly think this is the primary reason SS offered the battled damaged saber as the EX

To be fair it comes with both lightsabers and cost the same as the regular edition. So you would be paying the same for more.

True.....I agree more for less (or the same) is always better. I am happy with what I got. I like many don't see displaying him without the double saber. And if I want I will just take the back half of the standard one off if I have space issues, but I hung a 24" x 12" deep shelf last night waiting for his arrival Thursday. I will drop the power cord and paint a legrand chord mate to match the wall to hide the power cable.

so the question is...room for two PF side by side. I have Kylo Ren (which is currently in besta with his helmet so I don't see moving him), OT Stormtrooper, and Boba Fett (ESB). I am leaning towards putting the OT Stormtrooper and Darth side by side..nice contrast of white and black and both have very similar bases. Thoughts? I also have IS Darth Vader on order, but he will def be going into a dedicated besta.

EX is sold out and it shipped a couple of months ago so I think most folks have it and are on to the next statue... that's the dirty little secret of this hobby, you need your next fix LOL!!

Which is why I would hope at least one technical question could be answered - what type of extension do I need to get for the power chord (and NO, I don't want to connect power chord to a regular extension chord, I want to add an extension between the base and the connector on the power chord that comes with the statue). Then i can easily hide it. Thanks!

I asked question to SS and they responded "it's a standard two US outlet plug". LOFL.

I don't expect a response but I'll ask anyway. Is the button extremely sensitive? As in just touching it (not pressing it) will turn off sabers?

I wouldn't say so. Pressing it gently won't turn them on/off.

Today I recieved my excl Darth Maul PF statue.
Statue itself looked great, but the lightning doesn't work. The excl saber didn't work at all and the double did light up a little bit (at the hilt) and after 3-5 sec it went out and never went on again . I just mailed sideshow with this problem and hope the can tell me how this is possible.

1. Their lightsabers have always been very fragile.

2. Stuff gets beat up during shipping very easily.
