Thanks! I almost bough one yesterday, but was disturbed at work when I was going to place the bid. She did have some tiny spots of damage on her head so I was hesitant anyway. Now the hunt continues. I may buy Malgus instead.

Either way, both are awesome sculpts. I personally consider Malgus a grail as well.

I still don't get the craze for this character. I watched a review recently on youtube. I think Aayla and Shaak Ti are better. I never read the comic Darth Talon was in. I own the preview cover though. I guess I'll get around to reading it one day even though it's basically a fan EU story now. Maybe I need to see her in person to see why everyone calls her a grail.

Aayla looks like crap :| Shaak Ti is better than Aayla, and while the paint isn't bad it's certainly not amazing. Also Sith are just cooler

It's a great sculpt and the paint job is good (being that it's relatively simple, but it's clean and looks great). Definitely overpriced but "worth" is more of a personal thing.
I know nothing about this character and haven't read a word of the books or played any games. This is one of the last PFs I would sell (and have been steadily selling most licenses) just because its so unique and so well done. Its foreign yet recognizable and the female face sculpt is really something else. The clean and simple paint job helps as well, no newfangled attempts at shading the tones that often cheapen the feel.
I have no expectations for how the character should look, no aging actor to compare it against - a good thing. It also has all the cool of Darth Maul without the patina of prequel blah.
In fact, I don't want to know anything more about Darth Talon, what I concoct in my mind is enough.

You can look up Darth Talon and she is pretty badass However the face is certainly not similar to what it is in the comics, they made her cuter.

I would love to get her, but the prices is insane... And theres alot of new statues coming out.. and I want Malgus to.

Talon has a great story. Definitely read up on her. She's quite the villain.

Sculpt and paint on this is great but now that I don't think she is canon anymore definitely makes it way less appealing to me.
That shouldn't matter, some of the best characters aren't cannon anymore.

Matters to me. I don't give a **** about legends anymore. I collect way too much to not collect cannon stuff now when it comes to Star Wars.

agreed. I'm in the camp that really liked all the old stuff and EU. Hollywood really has this thing where they feel their writers are somehow superior to the other mediums. In my experience Hollywood writers rarely come up with something better than whats already been done whether its a book, comic or videogame.
