So, didn't this just come out? I checked ebay and noticed people had buy it now of like $400+. I thought one had to pre-order this.Did these people just pre-order it, then throw it up on ebay to make a profit? I have never ordered off Sideshow's website so I am not sure how this works.

Yeah, didn't they just pay $300 for this? Anyways, I put my name on the waitlist for Flexpay for this....I will have to wait and see if it converts.

I am wondering this myself, did you use the flex pay or did you get on the list for the full amount up front? All those conversions a few pages back, were those flex pay?

My WL didn't convert yet. I'm on board to pay all at once.
I went on the WL two weeks ago, once I saw pics. I don't expect miracles.

I jumped on the WL for the reg & ex version on 7/14. My WL converted on the reg version a few days later. I was told my card would be charged on Aug 6th.

The reg has an editon run of 1500. I should be able to get that for less than retail. Thing is, I wanted the Ex. I'll simply have to wait a bit longer until one surfaces at the price I'm willing to pay. What's great about this hobby is that unless you want an extremely hot item, you'll eventually get the piece you're looking for if you are patient. It's the people who "must" have it now who pay the most. Then, all of a sudden, a whole bunch of sellers pop on the bay thinking those impulsive must-have buyers represent the norm (which they never do) and the patient ones (like most of us collectors) eventually get their piece at 30% off retail or more because there simply aren't that many collectors out there willing to shell out $300-$400 for a Star Wars PF.

I just say kudos to those that are willing to pay so much right now. I remember the same thing happening to the Bowen Bronze faux statues going for $400,and I bought one for that price, and now look at them. I just sold my Wolvie pf to get her though

I recently bought the Tusken Raider pf ex for $200 shipped and the Scout Trooper on bike for $400. The deals are there. Should the Talon PF will soar in price, I'll simply have to live without it. This is just a me thing. We all have a prices we're willing to pay for things. As a general rule, I try never to by an item when it's hot.

As for the DT, I suspect the reg will fall below retail. 1500 is a rather large run for a relatively unknown EU star wars character. I barely even knew her myself. But, she does look cool.

Like I said, should the Talon PF ex soar in price, I'll simply have to live without it. This is just a "me" thing. As a general rule, I try never to by an item at its peak prices.

Because if someone changes their mind about the PF, I'd be willing to buy it. It's happened before. Not everyone deals on eBay. Sheesh. Is your next post going to be a marriage proposal??

The regular one will for sure with 1500 of them (it may even be coming back in stock since it has a 100 countdown bar on the page.) The Exc will be hot for a while but when the next sex pot comes out this might very well go down in price.

If someone is out to get every dime, I'm sure they'll know where to find you... lol. All this to say that there have been times (not always, of course) when I sold stuff and I was more than happy to simply get back what I paid, even on an item I could have made $20-$40 more on the bay.

even though, I applaud your willingness to do that. I, like a lot of others are not in great financial situations, so most will try and get what they can. Those that are in good financial sitations; well, Im sure you know how greedy people are in general. Just look on ebay for ppl asking for ridiculous prices on almost every SS piece in existence.

The last few DT Ex auctions have ended at 350, 350, 400, 350, 339, 400, and an extreme one at 460 for the must-have-it-now buyer. These prices are to be expected at first. The question is, will those prices last until fall? Maybe. Maybe not. If not, I'll be there. If so, well, SS's fourth quarter is filled with stellar items on the way so more cash to go there.

As for making that $20-$40 extra per sale on the bay, chances are eBay would simply snatch that extra piece of the pie for themselves anyway. I keep that in mind when I sell stuff to fellow members. Better to have them save those few bucks then to just hand it over to eBay.

P.S. As for those "greedy people" on eBay, my answer to that is to simply look elsewhere. In a way, I'm glad they're there as I hate competing with a buyer who's willing to pay more than what an item is worth... lol. Thankfully, there are more of us around than them!
