Yes it's more about seeing darth talon in a live movie which I think it was very well done. It was great fun!

I didn't see the red and black wires at first in the pic. After I blew it up I can see that it will be more complex a repair. I don't believe there are any solid state electronics in the leg, are there? Aren't those just broken wires with a positive and negative for the circuit? Seems to me that all you need to do is splice the wires back together, since I think the electronics with the switch is in the base, not the body.
It does raise the cost of repair quite a bit, though. I think it can and should be repaired in any case, since the statue is so limited and in demand.

What can be broken, can be restored.

If not for the wires, this piece can be restored invisibly, good as new.

With the wires, it's a little more complicated but no so much. As mentioned these are simple positive and negative polarity. The trick is that there is no "give" to these wires so far. The guy who will repair will need to drill out the wires and pull them a little. Hopefully there will be some give. If the arm is any indication there should be if these wires go all the way up the body and to the arm area itself.

Then you solder the two together and test the lights. It should turn on fine.

After you drill more resin as needed to create some dead space for the loose wire to lie.

Then glue, putty, and paint match.

It does require some comfort with basic soldering but the entire repair job shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.

As an aside, like many of Sideshow's older Star Wars PF pieces, the light saber's light up really sucks so it's not like you're missing much. Of course if you want to have it back as good as new etc then this is what will need to be done.

I knew someone was going to bring this up. But yes I don't have the time and also I will admit patience either. But I do look at comics a lot. The best thing ever was when a nice member here posted the link to the secret invasion entire full video/ story on YouTube. Never knew that kind of thing existed. Now I really like going there to finish up that series. I'm getting addicted to catching up more and more. It's great for people like me who don't read the books. Btw that story was really good so far. I will finish it soon. It will be my first comic book series I finished. I will look for more big story lines next!

That's still not that much more from the going rate 10 months ago when I bought it for 900.00. It hurts to know this was 225.00 to 250.00 when it came out.
