Actually, it's quite clever the way the guy edited it: Qui-Gon only appears AFTER Luke has turned away.

Personally, I like this ending better. For one, the addition of Qui-Gon truly adds a touch of closure that I still feel is missing from ROTJ. What's more, the very last shot closes on the Jedi Spirits (the true heroes of the saga) and not on Billy Dee Williams clapping like a dork.

But maybe that's just me. :maul

I think Qui-Gon looks great there. I'd much rather have him there than Hayden. No offense to him, but Shaw should be there. They should appear as they died (like the originals) or have them ALL young. It is almost rewarding Anakin for "dying" young before becoming evil.

I am not a fan of Quigon at the end but he did do a very good job of editing it in there. My only critique would be that it throws the balance (no pun intended) off by making the left side of the screen a bit too character heavy. Find a way to balance it and I am almost sold on it.

I would much rather see Quigon in ROTS. :emperor

Funny swipe at Billy Dee aside, I was being completely serious. If Lucas truly wants all 6 films to form a cohesive whole then the ending of ROTJ still needs a good bit of work. It's balls for the final shot of the whole saga to feature clapping Lando and Ewoks instead of the likes of Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, etc.

I agree that the final should have been Obiwan, Yoda and Anakin. I have always felt that there should have been more dialogue too at the end instead of NONE. But thats just me.
