I like it better without the Helmet.

Without the helmet is really the only way I like it. The dome just doesn't seem to sit right in those pictures. Plus as Dave mentioned earlier the neck brace was only worn during the reveal, so again, it just doesn't look right with the mask and dome on. Kudos to Sideshow for putting this together, but I'm going to pass.

Meh. If I could own only one Star Wars piece this would only be third on my list, in this order:














1. Fully functional Death Star
2. Real life lightsaber
3. Sideshow 1:1 Darth Vader bust

They get a lot of points in my book for using the acrylic eyes. This should now be the standard.

I wouldn't want a Death Star. Way too much upkeep costs and it can get blown up buy some punk little kid.

I'm guessing they were still setting up... the product image on Sideshow's teaser looks fine wearing the helmet.

Neck Brace may be a different issue, would need to see more pics.

Could be. There's a whole slew of pics at rebelscum and they usually have really good photography.

Yeah, although all the pics there (so far) seem to be from the same set-up. I could be wrong, but I could not imagine Sideshow releasing a bust where the dome fit that poorly

This looks absolutely fantastic. If the final product looks as good as these pics I think it will be Sideshow's best SW piece yet.

Anyone else thinking the Ex. version is with the portrait.

Unless the assembly is to put the collar part on, then insert the Shaw head, this image suggests to me you can get the bust without it.

No eybrows is much better imo....

I deffinately agree his eyebrows have burnt... and about the bust I actually can't think of a better Star Wars Collectible... THAT'S FANTASTIC!!! Lord Vader... Yes Master... Rise!:emperor

I assumed that was just to show what was underneath the head. You can see in the base what looks like a block that the Shaw portrait would rest on.
