I talked to Sideshow the other day when my waitlist converted for the EX and I paid my deposit. First week of April they are processing them, but I am not sure if it was both versions or just the EX she was referring to.

So it looks like the regular release is coming in the next 30 days, but not the exclusive? Kind of lame...
Also, have they ever shown the final design for the stand? Weird that nearly a year later and still no word on what the exclusive will actually be aside from the mock-up.

I'm not too surprised the Ex. might come later than the regular, it's happened before, not sure why. Both Predator dioramas, the Ex. edition shipped like a month after the regulars, and the only difference was an extra head.
Since the stand is important to supporting major parts of the bust, I'm ok with them taking extra QC time to ensure it supports the weight, not that it's the cause of the delay, but still.
Whatever the cause, I'm financially happier to wait, I'd rather it ship later and be able to get it than sooner and run into problems.

Since the EX is basically a 2 for the price of 1 in terms of display I can see why there is a hold off on the 2 versions plus some QA testing on the stand.
The specs for the EX stand will show up for the customizers but they wont be the same as the EX version. For whatever that is worth...
I just hope they aren't painted to the flaky Iron Man bust standard!

If that happens, it will be a day long remembered. It will have seen the end of quality control, and will soon see the end of buying 1:1 busts.
