I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually love the EX head. More so than the regular in fact. Reg head seems like old man superman to me.

That's cool. A lot of people like it. A lot of people don't. I'm part of the latter lol.

Thanks Spidey, I had zero interest in the Hulk because of this reason. It just seems like an expensive toy without being numbered. Yeah for me it's a collectibles thing. Hopefully the do the right thing with Supes. I'm actually pretty sure he will be numbered.

The EX will be, but as of RIGHT now the Reg has nothing up on the SSC site. Not a TBD or eve a Limited Edition. Being honest I don't want it to have a limited edition othe Reg simply because that won't encourage SSC to so more awesome and innovated Superman statues in the future. This will be the ONLY one for ALL time so to speak... And that is just boring from an artistic stand point.

MM if you haven't seen the Hulk in person then you DON'T know how AWESOME it is. It is an amazingly huge, detailed, and authentic piece of art. Number or no... It is going to come my way one day, but the again that is my choice, and not everyone feels that way

To be honest... While I LOVE BOTH the Reg>EX head simply because of how ICONIC it is. Also, HONESTLY marker the Reg head doesn't look that old if you REALLY get a good look at it... At least that is My opinion. As I have said before I think the old malook comes from the side and back lighting that was used which makes his hair look grey on the sides. I think he will look great in natural light... Kind of like in this pic... But less blurry....lol..

Won't happen but we can hope. Altering the Ex really should be done though. Even to make the worms magnetic or something. It would be easy to have metalic eyes painted red or something. Then one could "stick" the worms on. It's a beautiful sculpt gone to waist on the Ex IMO.

The problem is while the flames could come off or out, they would be incredibly SMALL and hard to adjust. Also even if you could remove them, how would you get something in and out of the eye socket... Hence the problem. I guess I am one of the lucky ones because I love it... Am really sorry more don't too.

Well I really blew the reg portrait up in high res, and the face looks to be about 35-45ish, and there aren't a lot of lines on it, and the grey really looks to be reflected lights... if the hair is jet black like from that screen cap I posted I think we see a young strong Superman

Well that debate started 230ish pages ago.

And it's all your fault that it is so may pages back!!!

Ardeth have you seen them on a good big screen???? As for the word MOST... I would be careful using it... Here is a pic of the poll over at SF

Almost 50% are fine with the... 30% are buying them anyway... Another 10% are getting the regular, and 10% weren't getting it anyway.

So in reality out of the people who were going to actually BUY the statue probably 55-60% don't mind the Ex, and another 30% are still going to get it.

Honestly, there are just as many people who like the Ex as who don't, maybe even more, but as happens most often in life THOSE WHO ARE UNHAPPY SCREAM the LOUDEST!!! However, that doesn't make them the majority.

The Only thing I will say about that poll is that I would answer "I am fine with it getting the Ex anyways" and I don't like the worms. Like I have said I will order from SS no matter what for the points and good CS.

Soooo I am getting the EX because it's the same price and I get an extra head. Now if I could save 150.00 and get the reg I would but what I would save now is not worth it.

Now I am not saying that pople who voted that they are OK with the EX are not in love with it. But I would not doubt that there are some who voted that way who planned on displaying it with the Reg head no matter what and don't care about the EX head (sort of like the T1 PF for me. It's a nice Ex and All but I will never display it). It's all about the wording. While I know that people who don't like it or more apt to complain I just can't believe it's lile 7 to 1 whe reading the post of people who don't like it to people who do.

A better pole would be.

So just so we are clear there was no name calling in my end m8... Playing chicken is a game... As for the rest what was I wrong about?? When I joined I am pretty sure the Batman Waitlist was closed... So that would be less then a monthish.
As for getting on a Waitlist that you aren't interested in, I gotta ask why??? Just to test if it is a fake sell out?? You are just taking the spot of someone else who comes to the hobby late and who can't get on becaus you decided to be curious. Seems pointless to me and a bit of a jerk move IMO. Sorry but you are blocking another collector for NO reason if you pull that.

In regards to batman, I misunderstood your post. I thought you had said only 15 people converted. My mistake (due to skimming the multitude of posts) and I apologize.

As for the reason to put my name on the waitlist, yes, it is to test the limits of SS "sold out" claim. I would be doing it weeks after the thing is sold out and declining it, if by chance it converted, enabling the next person on the list to get it. Not sure how this would "block'" another collector, and as for being a "jerk" I would suggest anyone buying the exclusive even though they have no interest in it (thereby truly depriving someone else from owning it) better deserves that title.

For what it's worth, I own 7 superman statues, 2 of them being cool 1/4 scale customs, and I will be getting the regular version of this.

You could be right Spidey, hopefully the EX will look better in person. I'll give it a chance.

As for the Hulk, I don't love it enough to forgive the LE, but to each their own. I prefer the original Hulk PF.

Hey guys..I ordered this over at BBTS...Does anyone with experience ordering from them know how long it takes them to ship their PF's to you after SS ship's theirs?

Past experience: The retailers do take time to ship out, but they do not get very late.

I get stuff from CSC. Got my Joker on 22nd August last year (I am overseas). Don't think it got too late. I have purchased from fanboycollectibles as well. I once asked them about how soon would I get (an item) once SS starts shipping; to which their reply was:

"Normally Sideshow will send me a notification that an item is due to arrive in their warehouse in 20-25 days. I’ll then get an invoice showing the item is shipping to me (normally within that 20-25 day timeframe). It generally take about a week for the item to reach me (we received the Thor invoice this morning showing the delivery date of next Thursday)."

So hopefully, it should not take too long. Just ask BBTS, guess they will be able to give a better picture.

I do like the flames, and damn they do look good in HD, but on yeah .... Quiet BOTH of you!!!!....

As for the Sig Kinger it will be changing soon enough, as will the Avatar.
