Somehow I just tonight saw that this was up for pre-order, and ordered of course. Guess I shouldn't be surprised I'm not the only one who thinks the smoking eyes gimmick looks dumb.

A But how would it look in person? Might look a little gimmicky. Plus who knows how long before the lights go out on a $400 statue. Then what? I don't want to have to worry about that.

Yeah I worry about the Gimmicky look. That is why I would rather have then just painted red.

No Gimmicky light up feature.

I knew this would happen. I knew that someone would do a nice photoshop of Superman with just red eyes Light up or not and that everyone would fall in love with the look.

SSC really needs to rethink the wormy effect.

While I really really hope they do, I don't imagine sales will be strongly affected one way or the other. Folks who want a Superman PF (many) are gonna buy it (whether it be ex. or regular), and a nice alternate head isn't gonna be the deal breaker. This might mean more folks are gonna order regulars over exclusives though.

Knocking them out, sanding it up and just waiting it red... Probably not HORRIBLY expensive.... Clear resign eye like the last pic....

Dremel off the clear resin smoke effect and there you go.
