Sideshow never changed the description on the exclusive C-3PO/R2-D2 premium format that says they are on a "Yavin themed base" so I highly doubt they are going to change the sculpt for Superman at this point.

It hasn't even been 2 weeks. We know it's going to sell out eventually. The question is will SS make any changes on the Ex? It's possible. However, I fear that as long as it sells it really gives SS no reason to make any changes at that point. BUT on the other hand they've made changes before between pre-order and production. Look at the Elder Predator statue. The concept sword had many . Then SS included the original sword design as well giving owners 2 sword options. They also listened when fans pointed out the missing mandible ring. Then added it before they started shipping. It's possible!

Still passing on this for now. Will wait until it sells out and then jump on the wait list to avoid the NRD. I did the same for Batman and it worked just fine. He sold out of 2,000 exclusives in a few days and we're still waiting for Supes to sell out of 2,500. Maybe in a month.

I won't order it now because I'm not sure I would ever display the exclusive head sculpt. I can save nearly $70 by ordering the regular version locally. If something changes with the sculpt or I change my mind, I will wait list the exclusive.

How long did it take them to change the Darth Malgus? I mean, wow, they ended up adding light up features to that.

Took them awhile to do the changes for GL also.

The exclusive headsculpt could be an onion with eyes and the sheeple would still snap it up because of the smaller ES and glorious elite number on the base. Sideshow don't give a **** about all the pointless whining, it's basically a given that exclusives sell out eventually which is what they want.
