I can remember when Sideshow only made 300 of certain statues. Some of the most exspessive items made during their Sideshow/Weta The Lord of the Rings statue line had only 300 total pieces.

I actually liked the EX head, but that pic has now convinced me that the eyes should be changed. I really like that look.
Actually blame SSC for putting their pieces out for pre-order a year a head of time and then screwing up the eyes..
I would blame them for your constant grumpiness.

I brought this over from SF awhile back... and it would be a good EX as well.... Kind of why I have been saying there should be a third head off and on.
I know I am in the minority, but I would definitely love a lightup feature.

Bud in the end I REALLY hope you do grow to like it, assuming there isn't a change... Or that you can get something done if it bugs you that much. However, if they change it you better be ready...... Because I'm coming for you....
I hope they make the change or add the extra head. If not I hope to grow and like it. If not, it's not the end of the world. I will love the reg Ed just fine. It just so close to Universal Love. Like I have said before, if I did not love the head sculpt so much I would not care about the flame eyes. But I love that EX sculpt. Oh well.
Anyways there will be at least 8 months before he is released so expect to see much more bashing of the ex eyes until then

It's kind of funny. Spidey gets yelled at for loving the piece so much and posting his love and the Ex flame haters get grief for posting their dislike for the Ex head.
Personally I like reading any and everyone's opinion and posting mine. What else am I going to do in a Superman PF thread until SDCC??

Seriously though, I do wish the base was more epic (Daily Planet) or if in had light effects or something. I think it looks OK by itself. But I think next to my other statues it might really look plain.
However I got to think that they will add something to the bottom. I cant believe that the Fortress of Solitude will not have something separating it from our shelves. That may help the overall look.

I can't wait till SDCC.... Honestly, at this point most of the other discussions feel like NEVER ENDING loops... We need new stuff to talk about... And I NEED me another set of pics... EVERYONE IS tired of the old pics... At least that is what they keep saying...
