Well fella's I think my dream of owning this beautiful piece is coming to an end...I tried very hard to scrape the money together for this, but unless this is delayed again I won't be able to have the money for him and this will be my only chance to get him because I know he will just get outrageously high in the aftermarket and I'll never be able to afford him..So to say I'm crushed and heartbroken is an understatement...This was going to be my grail piece, so I'm very upset and deflated

Anyone wanna help a fellow collector out? Lol...

If this is a grail to you why don't you sell parts of your collection to get the money to be able to purchase this? I find myself having to do that all the time when something comes along I like better then other pieces I have in my collection.

I have done this recently myself. I decided to sell my EX Silver Surfer Com. Not because I needed the money (although that didn't hurt) but because he took up a lot of space. I knew Bats was going to be a huge PF so Surfer was sold and Bats now occupies that space. I'll have to sell a few more pieces and rearrange my collection once Supes and WW arrive. Unless you have unlimited funds and space, sooner or later we all have some tough choices to make in this hobby.

You should be fine. Don't stress yourself just yet. Most conversions happen right after shipping. We aren't there yet and this will probably be delayed. Don't forget what happened with the Joker and Batman PFs. Those WLs were actually closed for around a year before the PFs shipped and then were opened back up and had another round of conversions. The Supes WL never closed. Just be patient, I'm fairly certain you'll be OK.

I learn that it's not easy on space and money trying to collect everything. Very wise indeed. I now do the same.

Stay positive and keep saving up for it. You have a couple months before the new release date and maybe more--I won't be surprised if it gets delayed again. Plus, you never know what will happen with the wait list. I thought I had missed my chance at getting the Batman EX PF, but I got on the wait list when it reopened and it converted quickly.

This is an expensive hobby--which is good for wait lists because people may not have the $$ when items are finally released. Plus, any issue an item may have when it's released will cause cancellations. Just make sure the PF is worth whatever you may have to sacrifice to get it. I've missed out in a couple pieces due to timing and money but have also found that those pieces may not have been as important to me as I'd thought. Hope it works out for you but don't give up yet.

Yeah believe me I'm trying not to lose out hope of getting him, I'm trying to think of every way to get him, but as of right now, I don't see how I'll be able to if he's not delayed at least one more time...

Well that's the main reason I've had to sell off my collection because of financial reasons....Been a huge Supes fan tho, I've been waiting for years for a statue like this to come out from SS and I'd be happy if he was the only statue I have in my collection, so it kills me to think that I could miss out on him..

That would be cool, but SS has said that they are not changing it. They have been extremely guarded about the EX, though...I haven't seen a single pic of the EX anywhere other than on SS's website.

They don't seem to show off the heads for their PFs that were not done by the main sculptor. SSC only ever showed the Martin Canale (lead sculptor) Batman head when it as shown outside of the production gallery. The first shots of the Andy B head that weren't from the order page weren't seen till the actual statue arrived at peoples homes. I am kind of betting that we won't see an updated shot of the Ex head, unless they update the production photos like they did for Poison Ivy and Green Lantern.

After seeing Wonder Woman I think Superman need something obscure to stand out now, getting regular but now actually considering getting those spaghetti eyes!!

I cancelled Supes after the Batman fiasco then two weeks later got on the waitlist for Supes Ex and it converted within days. Hop on waitlist if you want one, I am sure it will convert.
