Yeah for real. Our govt here is thinking of putting a GST of 10% on imports under $1000 - at the moment under 1k is tax free. It's possible the amount of tax they pull in would be negated by the costs to administer it so it might not happen.

Here's hoping for yours and everyone down unders' sake. That's super balls. We get taxed 13% for any imports period. However when my Batman came over they put the value at less than 300 at the border. However I had also put my company's name and they got charge lmfao. Then someone from head office called to sort it out lol.

The customs applications to SSC is so inconsistent for Canadians. Sometimes I get charged, sometimes I don't. I payed $86 in customs and taxes with Conan: Fury of the Beast but like only $25 or so for Master Chief.

Now with our dollar taking a ****, it costs more than ever. Hopefully part of the weaker dollar is related to the referendum issues surrounding the PQ in Quebec. Once we can vote those nazi's out, maybe the dollar will recover a little.

Quebecers are always going to complain about something, they always have. We need to get rid of the Robot in Parliament

It's been going up slowly for the last week or so...hopefully the start of a trend. If it falls too far below $0.90USD, things start to get too expensive and I will be cancelling some things.
