Or in a reasonably clean home.

Dust is going to happen no matter what, what closed shelves do is cut your cleaning by 85% but you still got to get in there a couple of times a year unless it's an air tight individual acrylic case.

Can dust really damage the stat.. Ive been displayin mine in an open.. But i clean them at least once a month.. Not sure bout fabrics though

I don't know if it'll damage it, but the dust is definitely harder to clean off of a mixed media statue like superman. If it gets too dusty, it'll just start to look bad.

Just opened up my supes and the red things on the eyes in the bag has little pieces in it. 3 round red dots and I believe 4 red larger pieces. Is this correct? I thought the red dots are broken parts but then I saw the instructions and now I'm confused. How many little red parts belong in the bag? Overall he looks pretty good. I need to check him out more later after work.

You should have 2 pairs of each. 4 small red eye inserts and 4 heat trails.

If you leave dust for too long it cakes on there. I collect vinyl toys too and some are out in the open. Gets kind of sticky... Not sure if it will do that to polystone though.

I personally wouldn't leave cloth pfs out in the open... I don't dust enough haha

Cool thanks bro. So maybe nothing is broken. I need to find out if I'm missing one of the tiny red eye inserts. I only remember seeing 3 of those tiny dots. I will check again later tonight. I feel great in this case that I didn't notice nothing broken on him. Batman I'm still waiting for a base replacement because of the chip on it.

The real killer isn't dust, though it's never good to neglect them and allow it to build up, but direct sunlight.
