I just picked up two custom fabric capes from Dan (aka DynamicMenace) for my Superman and Batman PF's.

First, I have to congratulate Dan on amazing craftsmanship. The Batman cape is super heavy leather, and the engineering that goes into creating the insert along with the long heavy cape is incredible. The Superman cape is very well done, and drapes naturally. Both of these capes offer alternative display options, and cut down on the footprint of the sculpted capes -- which is why I picked them up. Not because of any leaning concerns.

Here's a quick video unboxing and first impressions. For those who might be considering these, I think they're well worth it.

Very interesting Sammy , his products look very tailored and finished. I personally like the one that comes with him due to the fact it swooshes out. I wonder if maybe he will offer one of the same quality tailoring with a metal wire in it, so you can create different "swooshing" effects left or right ?

Thank you for sharing.

I reached out to Dan a few days ago as I'm contemplating getting this PF. He has both a regular fabric cape and a wired fabric cape for sale. The wired one looked cool in the pictures I saw.

I saw in his video the Wired cape for Batman, but not for Superman. Good to know

I just need to decide if I need this, or am I happy with the stock. Mint not leaning, but I use rubber pads under base. I think that really helps instead of factory felt pads which seem to not have consistent size.

Pre-ordered. This will be my by First PF. is there a thread for the custom headsculpt/portait for PF superman?

Certainly for anyone who's a Supes fan.

I want to be honest. I'm not a die hard Superman Fan:(, but I do like to have Iconic characters in my overall display.

Out of the Three Superman Statues we received from Sideshow, I will pick this version all day long. This is what I envision Superman in general to be.

I agree with you. I'm not the biggest Supes fan myself. There are plenty of other DC characters I like more. However, he is an ICONIC DC character and I grew up reading a lot of JLA comics so there was no way I was going to pass on adding him to my collection. The BIG 7 was a done deal for me and the fact that this PF turned out so phenomenal...there was no way I was going to miss out on it. This is a stunning PF all across the board IMO.
