I am not sure what kind of super glue it is. I think any super glue will work, I did have to use a little extra on it than the normal drop. I know that the Zap A Gap stuff doesn't work.

Okay just saw that Natrix added pictures. I now see that the big zipper problem is not on the back of the boots, but on the back of his outfit where his neck is. Yes, that is annoying and would look better sewn unto the suit as Dave had pointed out.

I opened my Flash up a couple days ago and the zipper in the back is actually fairly flat and not that noticable when displaying.

As for the boots, its not too bad, its a tad too big but, again, when displaying, not that noticable. https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2289&stc=1&d=1170733564

I do agree they should just sew them in if there is no alternate costume.

Sorry if the pictures don't turn out, its my first time posting them on the board, or any board for that matter.

Actually the zippers on his boots look good, and when the zipper is flat to his neck looks good as well. Post more pictures please!!!

Hey Wooter,

Would you mind posting a picture of the back of the neck? I want to compare it to mine and try get a nicer more natural looking neck on mine.

Thanks.

I believe what Wooter did was pull the fabric down a bit from the head onto the neck and shoulders to fit it closer to the form of the body. Gives the neck, shoulders and back a better look. Really does make a great improvement.

Here are just some different (but similar) perspective shots...

That is why I wanted to see pictures of the back to see how the top of the costume is done above the zipper. Compared to mine his zipper looks a lot lower, I didn't want to start pulling on the fabric and have it rip or stretch out from under the head and ruin the costume.

Thanks for the pictures Wooter!

I will have to try and carefully adjust the costume on mine. The neck fabric must be bunched up under the head because I hardly have any neck movement.

I've love to get this line, but those bodies are just horrid. Stiff and to square. What is up with the calf sculpts?

I was really looking forward to flash, now i'm not.Heres hopin a movie version is released when the movie comes out.

I think they look heroic :D Granted they aren't Hot Toys (and they certainly don't cost the same), but they are a nice line of DC characters.

I think for the bodies to be based on super-muscular comic book heroes, the bodies are fine. I do agree they are way too stiff, but i gotta say, 13" Green Lantern is probably one of my favorite figures I have. The body fits the figure, looks like its straight from the comic book, and the sculpt is amazing.

In brightest day...

Green Lantern is my favorite of the 13" line so far. Just a stunning figure!

After pulling the head off and breaking the same wing I had previously broke off, I found why my costume wasn't looking right on the back. I had to remove nearly an inch of extra zipper on both sides that was bunched up inside the costume and under the head. Now I have more neck movement and the costume/zipper is flush with the back of the head like in Wooter's pictures. Now I have lopsided wings on the head because it was a pain in the @$$ to reglue the wing and get it to stick.

Bummer man! I glued both head wings on today and they turned out pretty good. I need to touch up the yellow paint and it'll look better. Marc at Alter Ego told me that 25% of the Flash figures they received from Diamond had broken head wings. Pathetic.

I wish the wings on the head were made with the same plastic as the ones on the boots. I have bumped or pressed them several times and they never broke.

Yeah it's just a bad call on DCD's part. Imagine how much a Flash with perfect wings will fetch in 50 years! :lol

That's fine, with Shazam coming next week we don't have to worry about any wing breakage! :lol

Yep! The Shazam release will soothe all of our Flash pains. I'm REALLY looking forward to that Cap release! Did you see the boxed pics of it from the UK Toy Fair?

I think this line is decent. Although that muscular body isn't right for certain characters. A bulky Batman or Superman - sure. But not Flash. He is sleak and streamlined.

Although - I think someone could make a kickarse 90's TV Flash out of that figure, though.
