Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

It's really annoying that Robin doesn't have stand holes on his feet :(

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

^ Yes it is. But I managed to get him securely stuck with blu-tack on the stand I used and he's more than fine like that.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Looking great sfa! The black stands look so much better!!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I'm sure everyone knows by now how I feel about the stands for these :lol so I decided to do away with them.

I replaced them with some basic black stands, and I think they look so much better now! Plus, the figures are much sturdier now than they were on the original stands. They also don't take up as much space now which was my main gripe. :)

Excellent setup!

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

nice set up change sfa, which stands are using? I might try to replace mines too.
as nice as these look with the cool turnarounds; the long rods on the back take too much space. I would have like if they use the ones that came with batman and robin or make the rods smaller to better give more space.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I'm using Star Wars figure stands. Keep in mind though that not all the Batman animated figures have peg holes. I had to use Blu-Tack for some of them like Catwoman, Two-Face & Robin.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Maybe I'm being too picky but scale between figures is very important for me...

So I just go The Creeper today and overall it is a very nice figure. He has some small paint issues but not a big deal, well not as big as his head! Come on DC stick to one scale for this figures.

Check out the size of Creeper's head comparing to Freeze and Two Face!

This is ridiculous, te entire figure feels too big but that head is so out of scale. Another bad thing with my one - 1 part of the stand was missing so I can't even display him as he is too heavy to stand without it.... :/

I love this series but with each new figure I'm wondering if I want to continue to collect it, maybe I should just stick to BTAS figures. heeeeeeh

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

From what I'd seen online, Creeper looked a bit out of scale to me. And your photo confirms it Zelu. He looks way too big all over, and especially in the head. He's almost as tall as Freeze! There's no way he was that tall in the show. I'm debating getting him now. And if I do, I think I'd have to keep him in a crouching style pose or something.

I hope the rest of the announced figures fair better than this.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Still can't bring myself to get Creeper. Might be a figure I pass on altogether. But I've never liked the character. The episode he was in wasn't too bad but the scale issue doesn't help me getting it. Maybe if I can find it cheap down the road.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Anyone in the UK had the full wave as yet?

FP only seem to have received Man-Bat (amazing figure!!!)

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I got them off eBay, but they still don't appear to be out in comic shops or elsewhere online in the UK yet.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I know nothing about The New Batman Adventures (TNBA), but if scale is Creeper's figure only issue, people who are collecting DCC's TNBA figures should consider getting the Hasbro Creeper, since both figures are identical and the Hasbro one is shorter.

I say that because DCC figures stand 6" tall and the Hasbro/Kenner ones, 5".

Is Creeper shorter than the other characters on the show? If yes, get the Hasbro one and all is well.

I noticed the shops get then before the online stores do. eBay is the best option if your desperate for them now, but I recommend going into the shops and picking the best of what's in the shelf

The Kenner Creeper Figure is shorter then the new DCC Robin Figure...so that wouldn't work. The Creeper's head on the the kenner figure does look in scale with DCC's Two Face and Mr.Freeze, but a head swap might look too small on the new Creeper Figure.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Anyone got any idea when the batmobile is coming out?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Looks like Harley Quinn comes with accessories from "The Laughing Fish" episode, and not "The Man Who Killed Batman" as was stated previously. That's great since, as we can see, she comes with some decent accessories and may not have with the latter episode. That Joker fish is awesome! Totally going to give that to The Joker since his accessories were poor.
