Wow, that Batmobile looks incredible.

So much for some figures shipping today, BBTS have yet to charge me for them, really getting tired of the mysterious release dates and delays with this line.

How do you like Penguin so far, Sallah?

I am really digging him! I have a couple of minor nitpicks (hat isn't removable, waist clip on stand is still the same tiny one, no cigarette w/holder), but overall I love the way he looks and feels. The sculpt and paint apps are really nice, and he has a good weight to him. He almost reminds me of a stop motion puppet or something. For being a short figure, he has a lot of presence.

Got Penguin and Ivy today. Penguin's umbrellas are awesome, and although he has limited motion, his sculpt is awesome. Wish he fit better on his stand, though.

Poison Ivy is so much better than I expected out of the package. She looks perfect, and is a great figure, especially considering we've never been given a NBA version of her in figure form.

Love these two! Can't wait for more.

looks nice, but I don't know... something disapoints me, but I can't tell what.
I kind of preffer the old kenner toy. :/
(Maybe someone could show a photo of both next to each other for a better comparison?)

I still love the Kenner one... But I absolutely cannot wait for the DCC version.

It was easier for the Kenner version to match the outside proportion of the animated counterpart since it only seats one. DCC has to make it a bit wider for it to fit 2. I prefer it being a bit wider and actually being able to seat 2 myself.

This is the problem in translating things that magically work in animation into a real physical object.

Oh... something I noticed on Ivy too while going through the case of figures- There was a lot of variation on the thickness of her eye color paint. Some were thick enough to give them a distinctive green coloring, while others were painted light enough that the green almost blended in with the white of her eyes.

Neither looked "wrong", nor did one look better than the other. I just thought it was interesting.

As much as I love the Kenner one due to nostalgia, I never ever liked the fact that the cockpit doesn't open the right way (it should slide!!!) and there's only one seat. And other issues like wrong colors etc and that useless jet (he never used that on the show!).

The DCC Batmobile is the ultimate TAS Batmobile, IMO.
