^^going to get the one at LCS soon, and oh man compared to yours its a nightmare. one line on bottom row goes straight and crooks near top, terrible and grabs your attention instantly when looking at it. think im going to ask if they will get anymore in and wait, was just planning to repaint but dont want to really.

Has anyone tried using the TNBA Batman's semi-closed (?) cape on BTAS Batman?

I'd really like to see how it looks.

If anyone owns both Batmen, please send us a photo.

would love to see that as well! even better if a bold customizer painted the interior blue.

I got it from amazon and I was afraid they would send a bad one and pack it bad too. I usually purchase a couple figures at once and they usually shove all them in one small box bending the back cards and all. So now I'm just ordering one figure at a time since I'm now a prime member. And since it's only 1 figure, it's nicely packed in a small perfectly sized box.

I feel like the cape from TNBA won't look right on the original animated series figure. That look was very much designed for TNBA and I don't really recall seeing it in the original. When I think of Batman's cape draping over his shoulders in the original it covers pretty much his whole body.

They did the same for me when I wrote to them and showed them my first Batman back in February. It took a month, but I received one with the stronger joints, and I haven't had an issue with their figures since.

I'm going to have to hunt down a hip-holeless Batman when that's released though. The ones on Bats are a lot more noticeable than the ones on my Two-face and Freeze

Yes, I know it doesn't look like the original... My curiosity is just to see if it fits TAS Batman.
And I do recall the TAS Batman's cape draping over his shoulders just like the TNBA one:



Once it fits, I'll be just a matter of cuting those little "horns" (I don't know how to call that) to make them look like the ones on TAS cape.
And painting the inner part dark blue, which I don't think I'd do, because I like the all-black look.

I got my Batman today so I tried this out. Unfortunately the TNBA cape doesn't sit flush to the BTAS figure because of different neck and shoulder shapes. This is the best I could get him to look with it:




Really happy to finally get this figure though! He looks so much better in person and even better alongside Robin.

I can't stress enough how much I agree with your assessment that he's just better in person. The paintwork is just so subtle, and there's a lot of details you just can't really pick up on camera, like the laugh lines, for instance.

With that TNBA cape, TAS Batman reminds me of that awful 2005 animated series "The Batman." Yuck!

Yeah, that cape doesn't work on him.
But, oh well, even if he had 2 capes, I'd pick one to display anyway and basically never use the other, like I did with Robin.
So, I'm cool.


And WOW!! Bats and Robin look awesome together!

Got Batman yesterday from Third Eye Comics. Couldn't wait for my BBTS order to be filled. He's so awesome.

I really need an alternative to the stands, though. I despite them. Was working on something but it didn't pan out. Now I'm just creating labels to cover up the white stands with title cards from episodes the characters are in. But it doesn't solve the main problem of terrible support.

For anyone else waiting on BBTS to get in the recent figures, I emailed them today and got this response:

"Thank you for the follow up and at this time we are expecting our shipment any day now. This tends to happen with larger purchase orders unfortunately, which is probably why some of the other sites and/or comic shops got their order fulfilled first. Hopefully they will be arriving very soon though and please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with in the meantime."
