I just hope they don't take the same approach to packaging that they did the Arkham figures. If they don't make these collector friendly, I might have to rethink my stance on getting into the line.

What's wrong with the Arkham boxes? Are you keeping them MISB?

I don't want to, but I hate destroying packaging. I'd much rather they use a 5-color window box, as they call them, like this:

Also, keep in mind that, though those boxes may be unnecessarily large for the New 52 figures, they might be perfect for these, as you have to keep in mind that DCC is, apparently, loading these with accessories.

They'll probably use a similar box. I hope the art work on the boxes is better than those though.

They ought to replace the "sticker peeling" part with the classic Batman silhouette from the end credits. The back of the box could have Batman standing on the building from the show's opening with whatever info they want to write scrolling down the building he's standing on.

That works. A black and red box with some info about the show on the back of the box, or maybe some details about the character.

I'd like something like the Star Wars Black boxes for these animated series figures. It would be really neat if they followed the same box layout and color scheme as the original Batman: The Animated Series card backs from 1992. I always loved the orange sky setting over the city used on the original packaging.

This should answer our questions about the figures

If you release a character from The New Batman Adventures Animated Series, does that mean you won’t be releasing the Batman: The Animated Series version of the character?

This question came up quite a bit internally before we announced the line. We debated the character designs from each series, but decided they were all so cool, we had to do both! The good news is that the answer to your question is no—releasing an action figure from one series doesn’t mean we won’t release the same character from the other series. The bad news is that we can’t give anything away yet with regards to which unannounced characters we have in the pipeline, but our hope is to create as many characters as we can from both great shows!

I still don't trust them. I might buy the new adventures Two Face just in case they don't make the original. Just in case they say, "well, two face is too similar to the original, so we'll only be making one." They can't do that with most of the characters though.

I went to my local comic book store and saw the new Arkham Origin Figures. I have to say, they look really great and DCC doesn't seem to reuse parts like Mattel does with all of their "collectibles". Also, the Killer Croc figure is HUGE, like 10'' maybe 11'' inches tall and yet it is the same price as the 7 inch figures from that line. That's great news for this line! That means we might get a Clayface in scale with the other figures and he my cost the same as the 6'' inch figures Also, the Arkham Origin look as good as the prototypes did, so these figures should be just as good
