Agree - it has less of the Animaniacs/ Looney Tunes vibe going on and works better on a creepy level instead of as a "look it is a cute girl who is evil" gimmick which was a lot more limiting in terms of stories.

It it is one of the rarer times that the re designs improved on the character.

But that is exactly the idea of the character and her background story.
She was an actress who got her big role for having the looks of a "cute girl".
But then, after trying new things and failing, she became a maniac because of the frustration.
And as a maniac, she still uses her cuteness as one of her "weapons".

By the way, her meltdown at the end of her BTAS episode is absolutely fantastic.

In my opinion, her "mean" TNBA look totally killed the original idea of her character. But that's just my opinion, though.

I agree with all that but I mean more that her re design helped give her a bit more character and avenues for her to do more than just be a cute girl. It was good for one episode but there was not much more then could do with her after that in the original series.

Her redesign just reflected her descent into a darker place mentally in the same way as the new looks did for Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Ivy, and even Batman

The biggest problem with Baby Doll is that they reused her. She should have stayed a one off whose character arc was complete.

I thought I'd try a little Batcave background for the Batmobile shelf. Not sure if I like it or not yet though.... May get rid of the tunnel and make it a cave wall too.

I thought I'd try a little Batcave background for the Batmobile shelf. Not sure if I like it or not yet though.... May get rid of the tunnel and make it a cave wall too.

Sweet! Your display makes me want to open my figs and create a similar display. I have kept them in the packages, because they are easy to display on my toy racks that way (conserves space too). I did, however, buy two Batman and Robins from TAS to have them in the batmobile as well.
Personally, I like the cave entrance on there; I'd keep it that way.

Oh, I put them in there the night the batmobile arrived. It took me like forty minutes to get the seatbelts buckled. Love it though!
