Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Picked up the Commish today. Out of all the figures so far, he feels like the best representation on TBAS. He has a great 3D cartoon still about him from every angle. I may go back for Ras. I'll go back for him tomorrow. Hahah

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Ra's and Gordon are probably my next and last in this line. I'd pick up Nightwing but he's so bare bones. :/

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I'm thinking Harley had to be moved with the Girls Night Out pack because it is the same TNBA figure in the set- they would want to produce them at the same time.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Man, I hope that timeline sticks, and I can't wait until November. It'll be cool as hell to have Gordon and Bullock up next to the Batsignal.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Odd that Harley is coming so much later - we already have the new head from Mad Love - and I am guessing the new body really isn't that much different to the old, wondering what was actually left to produce? Hopefully that version will also appear in the GNO 5 pack.

Which Harley it comes with will decide if I buy that set or not. They said months ago it would be the new TNBA version, but who knows

Tbh, them releasing the newer single card Harley in that set always seemed weird to me, given their track record with cash grab sets with "exclusive" figs (this goes for most lines). The single card Harley only comes with a few extra hands and that fake Harley head. Not much incentive to buy the single card, even if you have Batgirl and Ivy. Single card versions of Harley, Livewire & Supergirl would be $84 srp (with their new $28 standard), and the set is $80 for them plus an extra of Batgirl and Ivy. I just wouldn't be surprised if they included the old Harley. The TNBA Harley being included is the only way I'll buy that pack

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I still want TAS Mr. Freeze more than anything.

So, at Toyfair, they had two TNBA Harley figures on display, one with the others from Girls Night Out and another by itself, but this one was displayed with the bug-eyed head and a few extra pairs of hands. There's video of Jim Fletcher, Executive Director of DC Collectibles and the guy who's been in charge of design and production for years, being asked the difference between the single carded Harley and Harley in the set and he says that the Harley in the set will have fewer accessories. The TNBA single carded Harley was just pushed back in the schedule to the month before the release of the Girls Night Out set. Recent (after February) official Solicitations from DC Collectibles have the NBA version of Harley pictured with Livewire, Supergirl, Ivy, and Batgirl. But you don't trust DC Collectibles to put the TNBA Harley figure in the Girls Night Out set.

I agree. I hope they prove us wrong but it would not surprise me at all.
You mention 'fake' Harley head? Not show accurate? I have never seen it but assumed it must be episode specific?

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Instead of realising a single carded TNBA Harley, they should just release her with the female pack

It's show accurate. The episode involved Joker finding a replacement Harley. So there was just some random chick dressed as Harley for the episode. The extra head is hers

Ah, so what you are saying is we get to add another character to our rosters. Im easily sold on variants as you can tell lol

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

I actually genuinely believe this new release schedule.

They know they've messed everything up and left many fans pissed off. They know they have to make it up to us.

See? That's what I was talking about. Just let us know what's going on, talk to us.
We've been supporting this line and DCC itself since day 1, the least they can do when $h!t happens is let us know they're aware of it and are handling the situation, ultimately sending a statement themselves with new release dates (or whatever the solution is).
Kuddos to them for finally doing it.

PS.: I'm happy again. LOL
And sorry for my previous emotional meltdown. It's just that this is my final action figure collection, so it's really, really important to me. So, whenever $h!ts like delays happen, it hits me really hard.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

DC just post this on Facebook:

"Hey DC Collectibles fans! We know our action figure release schedule has been a bit on the Bizzaro-side this year, the good news is we have an update! Here’s the updated release schedules for the Batman: The Animated Series and DC Icons action figure lines. We look forward to a fun-filled, BTAS and Icons-centric fall season!"

Will this expression pack be sold with figure or is this only for showing purpose?

Yea, pretty much lol. A random F lister for the collection haha

It comes with the figure and capes. Though I'm not sure if the Phantasm cape is still included, haven't seen it in any of the new pics

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Glad DC showed their cards and announced a new schedule for this stuff. Some delays are so long that I really do believe this is the schedule they will stick to.

Dear DCC,
Please, please include the cape from the Phantasm cover! That's pretty much the only reason I want this expressions pack...

I opened Zatanna recently and really like her but I thought...

I was going for this scene:

I simply repainted the pigeon accessory that came with the Claude figure in the Mezco Heroes line and...voila!

That's what I was saying: THEY DO LISTEN TO THE COSTUMERS!!! And it so happens that we are getting a bunch of figures at the same time...

Everybody sing along "I'LL BE BROKE FOR CHRISTMAS, JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE. THEY'LL BE TOYS BUT NO MORE DOUGH, NO PRESENTS 'NEATH THE TREEEEEE."
