I just checked this image in Photoshop and Catwoman's skin has anywhere from 12-15% cyan in the highlights. Her eyes are completely white. For what it's worth, Nightwing's emblem in the same shot is around 55% cyan.

Bottom line: Catwoman's eyes and flesh are not the same color. They were never meant to be. Her skin is meant to have a cold, blue cast (probably because she's based on Burton's zombie Selina). If the figure image is color-corrected overall using the eyes and teeth to white balance the rest, you get this:

saw the pic but is a bit little for work it well on it X_X anyway I've did another try on the same one and I think looks better now but I've changed different things this time xD

In my opinion, the real question should be this: how do you actually see her skin on your TV, watching the show?
Do you see a variation of white (off-white, blueISH, icy white - whatever) or do you see blue (like the figure)?

Because, to me, what matters is if the figure is faithful to the show.

So, seeing all the screenshots of Catwoman on TNBA, I see her skin as a variation of white.
But the figure is pure blue, so it's wrong.

But if other people see her skin as blue on the show, like the figure... go ahead and be happy with the figure.

Biggest problem when I was drawing are the eyes imo. Totally wrong angle, I had to draw them smaller, move them down and rotate them for make them look like that. Re-did the eyebrows using a pic as reference, resized and moved down the mouth, added cheek lines and changed the jawbone xDDD There is a lot more work than you can see in a crappy small photoshop edit like that xDDD Anyway, Zelu will fix everything when he get hands over Bert Wayne, let's wait for that I will buy the SDCC exclusive instead. Is way more accurate

It looks like Blebble changed the angles on the chin a bit, and those huge Groucho eyebrows look molded, not just painted, so that's another thing that would have to be resculpted, or at least sanded/shaved off.

Yeah, looking at it again and after he said he changed things beyond paint apps, I do see such changes.
And yes, the eyebrows appear to be sculpted. ****.

But then again, I don't even know why I'm bothering about it?
At the end of the day, I don't know if I actually want this pack.
I mean, I don't need several heads for Batman, nor do I need yet another Batman figure. Same goes for those accessories.
And even if I fixed the face, the Bruce head wouldn't sit on the neck anyway, as it's smaller. Have you seen pictures? It doesn't fit. Lmao
And even if it did fit, I probably would never display Batman unmasked.

I currently have 2 Batmen - both are from the MOTP pack.
Yeah, I bought two MOTP packs and donated the single-carded Bats and the one from the Signal set.

When I get the Batcave, that's where my main Batman fig (masked) will be, along with Alfred, Robin and Batgirl.
The second one is in the Batmobile.
Where would I display this 3rd Batman? I don't have/want the Batwing and I don't recreate scenes.

What made me want this pack for a brief moment was the revamped MOTP Bats headsculpt (with better nose). However, I've already fixed the nose of my MOTP Bats.

So, in my case, it's pointless to drop $45 on things I don't need or properly want.
I know "we never have enough Batman figures", but come on... we can't let fanatism win everytime. LOL

Agreed. Scoped it in person just for the hell of it yeserday. Was an easy pass for me. I'd only ever use 2 or 3 of those heads and maybe the gas mask. The rest is garbage that would sit in a box for the rest of it's life lol. As it is, leaving one of my Batman figs in the Batmobile for months has created that "swaying" cape the set comes with lol.


Also, I agree Catwoman looks too blue, but I always saw her as having a tinge of blue in TNBA as well

The Bruce Wayne head is awful. It's not just the paint applications, it's the sculpt and shape. There's no fixing that. It doesn't even fit on the ball joint and neck properly.


In my opinion, there are only three useable heads.

- angry head version (the MOTP reused, now with proper nose and painted teeth)
- bloody battle damaged version
- the mid sentence/talking open mouth version

The shocked/afraid head is pretty good, but kinda goofy and scene specific. I don't see myself ever using it.I do love the breathing mask and infrared goggles. I just wish they were a darker grey/black.

At this rate, the next BTAS Batman should be perfect. It's only taken 4 releases.

That's true.
Those are the only heads properly useful if one doesn't recreate scenes.
And accessory-wise, let's be real... The grapple-gun-sculpted hand and the Batarang are the only useful accessories if one doesn't recreate scenes. And to be honest, I don't even display my Batman with the Batarang. LMAO

The MOTP head is still the defining BTAS headsculpt in the line if you want only one Batman figure to be displayed.
When I got my second MOTP pack, the head came with painted teeth and better nose (guess both things were not a mass problem?). I only had to do a little fixup on the area and the nose was there to be seen.


Regarding the Bruce head... Even if it was perfect and fit the neck, the look would still be off because the mask hanging from the back of the cape would still be missing... So...

Exactly. Google TNBA Catwoman and there are multiple examples of her looking bluer than the cherry-picked ones shown here.

And the quality of TNBA designs is totally subjective. Back when they first came out I really wasn't a fan -- these days I think they're quite brilliant in their simplicity.

Haha true. I would like to have a couple of the heads from the pack, but I can't justify 50 bucks for a couple heads. Once again, if the dupe fig had not been in the equation, I probably would have bought that too lol. Joker set I'm down for at the moment, depending on what's going to come in the final set and what the price is
