Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!
I like action figures that spark my imagination. What can I build around them and how much fun i can have setting up scenes with them. These expression packs really have brought the line back to life for me. My interest had been waning, mainly due to there really not being many figures to look forward to.
Joker and Harley packs are definitely one of the very few highlights of this years SDCC.
It is becoming a point of endless frustration for me having to look at that sculpt with the hat and then having to come to terms with the fact that, of those they can reuse, they're giving us monkey boy down on the right, there, instead of a hatless version of the far superior new version.
They're looking for sales right now over anything else, so the thought process is probably that anything HQ and Joker will sell over say, a Rupert Thorne figure. So we get an big effing vehicle that had a few seconds of screen time, just because it's Joker related. I hope it sells to extend the line, but I can't imagine many people actually buying it. But I've been wrong before.
Guys...today it's arrived my Btas Batmobile Normal version (not deluxe)...I want know if Dc have done only a production or there are difference in plastic quality in this years. The plastic of my Batmobile it is not good..but a little poor and against the light there are little scratches (for example where the folding top runs ahead!).
I also hate the 5 packs as it's hard enough getting decent paint apps on 1 fig let alone 5 in the same pack. Good luck.

The Jokermobile is huge. It's not going to sell well. Dunno what they were thinking when stores are sitting on tons of Batmobiles and Batwings. I'll bet money that the Jokermobile doesn't see an actual release, and if it does, few will buy it.
Two-Face and Scarecrow are long over due. Just do them already.
Thanks Zelu!!! That is great to know. And, well, if that's how things are shifting at DCC I think guys, it's time to push back and help.
Could we, should we start a polite campaign making them aware of how their captive market is willing to contribute?
They haven't used mechanisms like polling the collecting community to see what type of figures or what specific characters would mean higher sale numbers, that could help them push back. This is a company with less corporate bureaucracies than at Mattel or Hasbro, and these interactive models have worked very well for the latter (Mattel is beyond help.)
What do you guys think? Would it help? Could we come together to do it?
