You could replicate that pose with HT figures, but it will only cost $435. Okay, smart guy?

Of course you would never do that, because HT figures are adversely affected by extreme poses, sometimes, just poses period.

I was debating getting just a Bane Icon or a Bats Icon, but why do that when you can have both???

When I first saw Bane break Bats' back, I pumped my fist in the theater that they even decided to go with the broken Bat angle for TDKR. The guy next to me looked at me oddly.

Any pics of the Bane or Catwoman statue? Are they in scale with Hot Toys figures?
I love Rises but currently don't own 1 single piece of merchanise. I thought perhaps if the final product (paint especially) looks good, I may get Bane and/or Catwoman.

Saw these in person, whilst the paint is better on the 1:6 items than the rest, thats not saying much. Shocking paint apps! the batman mini statue was really shoddy quality too, no detail, rough. I was really keen for these when they were first revealed too.

How about someone with a Twitter account ask NECA if they ever plan on obtaining the rights to produce proper Nolan Batman figures.
I hate the fact that as a collector, we are strictly limited to childish Mattel figures or super high-end Hot Toys figures.
There needs to be a middle-ground someplace and I feel that NECA would be the answer. Just look at their great work on such movie properties like Aliens, Terminator, and Predator.
