She could walk around naked if she liked. What could anyone do with her, put her in jail? :rotfl

Ironically when this version of Kara Zor-El was introduced she did walk around naked....so great minds...

Well, it is based on anime and lets face it, with any kind of cartoon design, it is meant to have exaggerated features. Having said that, it still has to look aesthetically pleasing.

If I had to get either of the two, I would stick with the Catwoman. As she is an attractive piece. However, since it is just a vinyl statue and since I already have my money wrapped into too many other things at the moment, I am afraid I'lll have to pass on both items too.

I like Catwoman...She looks like she's based on Adam Hughes art.

It's the boobs that lead to Adam Hughes, but I think this is actually based more on Jim Lee's art during the comic arc HUSH.

While it may be Lee's design, it really reminds me of AH's style (and not just the boobs).

Here's one of my all-time favorite covers of his. It really makes me sad that SSC doesn't have the DC license.

Beautiful work, AH! :rock

Fair enough. Don't get me wrong, I dig AH. To me though, this one just screamed Lee. I also recognized the case on her back from the HUSH comic. Plus, the Koto Batman released previously was based on Lee's design, glad to see they're sticking with this theme, and I hope to see more to follow.

As far as Sideshow getting the DC license, yeah I totally agree that would :rock

I have a feeling that Sideshow's deal with Marvel prevents Sideshow from getting the DC license and even importing foreign DC products (such as all the Batman Begins 1:6 figures and the Superman ones).

That and DC Direct hogs all the DC licenses as well.

Yes, you're totally right. That makes sense. And I hadn't really noticed the backpack due to her...um, other accessories. :lol

I dont think thier deal with Marvel has anything to do with it. The Batman Begins and Supemran returns figures each had a 13" Collectors figure counterpart. DC Direct (outside Mattle's Justuce Leauge Unlimited and DC Superheores) are the sole maker and distributer of DC based products. DC likes to keep all things in house it seems.
