Apparently to be part of the Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn had to be a Suicide Girl.

I didn't think the Teen Titans could look any worse, then I saw this. Wow this is just horrible. To begin with they barley changed Conner so why even bother. His new lack of costume is horrible though. Kid Flash is least offensive of the 4 that were changed. I don't know who the other 3 are. Supergirl there was nothing wrong with Micheal Turner's costume design the only thing alot of people asked for was for her skirt to be red so it was more iconic. So fine do that, this however is just awful. As for Jim Lee talking about variety and different styles. The DCnU is made up of high collars and armor, and then the rest is just generally useless changes.

That's Wonder Girl in Teen Titans not Supergirl.

Wow, new Harley looks horrible. :(

Have they shown Catwoman, Ivy or Wonder Woman yet? (Or is Wonder Woman the one with the pants that debut a while ago?)

Catwoman

Birds of Prey (Ivy)

I'm trying to get a grasp on this.

I like nightwing and the red hood designs so far.

This all seems very confusing and overwhelming.

If it not broken don't fix it. Harley was awsome just the way she was. If they wanted a new look they should have gone with something like this:

batman_arkham_asylum_conceptart_wTAJY.jpg

you know what i love that harley is in a team and on her own, yes it was cool how she was but she was mostly a second rate background character who had so much potential for most of her time in comic pages.
her without the joker is perfect since we can now see how far she will go to get the job done now that its her own missions and not mister J's work
yes she will still be a team person and follow the missions given but this can lead to a solo carer for her and a whole lot of bad ass stories

Rags Morales talks ACTION COMICS

Ok, this was the first impression of the new direction. At this point, I didn't know ANYTHING about what was happening to the character except for this costume. I assumed it was for them to "see" it, from Grant's description. Basically, it's Supes as we last leave him but expect some adjustments from this image.

Grant has some cool ideas. This was kind of a promo piece that I thought was for internal affairs, but I guess not. Before I knew anything about the series. Didn't know he was gonna be 22, so you'll see some adjusting.

This is a TREMENDOUS honor for me. There's only 1 Action Comics.

Ive been reading tons of hate for the changes but i also came to notice that a lot of the hate came from people that keeps saying that they stopped reading comics a while back .
well 2 things come to mind about that group of people, first if you would have kept reading dc comics lineup , maybe this would have not happen , second, since you all stopped reading comics for X amount of reasons, well DC needs more readers, and they probably took noticed that when Marvel changed things up in their comics, that the readers where reading their material more then DC comics, so they opted to make some changes of their own , and changes are always needed, if you dont update your material every now and then, then you start ending up in a place where you cant come up with anything new that will bring in readers... and thats what happen with their comics.
so to bring in more readers, they decided to bring in some fresh ideas, and in my opinion, this wont fail, since only those who dropped reading comics are complaining about the changes, and they were never going to pick up a new issue anyway, so DC wont change their plans to make those people happy.

and also DC comics and their related partners should actually stop listening to the crap being given to them over the net, maybe if they did we would have gotten the wonder woman series, and hey while on the subject, THEY WERE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE WW WEAR THE DAMN SHORTS, AND ALL THOSE WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PANTS, OK YEAH THEY CHANGED THEM UP BUT ALL OF THAT BAD FEEDBACK ACTUALLY HELPED KILL SOMETHING THAT DOWN THE LINE MIGHT HAVE TURNED OUT GREAT, JUST LOOK AT SMALLVILLE , 10 FREAKIN YEARS AND ALL THE BULL____ FEEDBACK AND THEY KEPT AT IT, BEST MOVE THEY EVER DID....
the studios need to get a back bone, and wait they did, and now we have the reboots, and i say its about time, about damn time for someone to come along and change up some things and all the nay sayers should actually give the issues a chance , so what they look different, id rather have a comic with a redesign but with a great story then a great art book with no damn story and a lack of anything worth the price.... if you want a book with pretty pictures, then go to walmart, i think they have a book section with lots of pretty colors and pictures, a comic book should both be a great artistic representation of characters and a great story to give reason to the art, the art is there to support the story not the other way around.

so with all that said and lots of hate coming my way( probably)
i say give these comics and this reboot a chance, hell the Ultimate line has a tons of costume changes but the stories are great and warrant the read for sure, so why not enjoy this and with all respect to everyone, this reboot should become the official DCU,
I see this reboot as a great new ride to sit back for and enjoy, after all they are just comics , a way to tell a great story and material for everyone to enjoy.

Post saved so when they undo this whole ____ because they realized it didn't work for Marvel, it's not gonna work for DC, I can laugh at it again. :lol

Crap knocking off Supergirl from my wants since it seems DC's turning her into a massive _____ with this*sigh* I was hopeing the 90s influence stopped with the costumes but no looks like dc's going to repeat the mistake Marvel made...and no Cassandra Cain.

I see this reboot as a great new ride to sit back for and enjoy, after all they are just comics , a way to tell a great story and material for everyone to enjoy.

A few things.

1. The Ultimate line originally started by framing itself as an alternative universe. It had no effect on the Marvel timeline from 1962. People could have their cake and eat it too. They could enjoy or hate the changes knowing that they'd still have the comics they were loving intact.

2. This is the DCU Officially. They've already said that. Countless times. This IS NOT an Ultimates thing but a relaunching of the standard DCU.

3. The majority of the hatred comes from the fact that while they thirst for new readers, they seem to completely snub the readers who have been there in terms of continuity and in terms of following events. Do you realize they announced this in the middle of three different events? In harsh reality they've said that in September it won't matter but read the books anyway because they are entertaining. Anyway you slice it it's a ____ you to the fans who are already there.

4. The changes are being done just because. Some of them work, I'll admit I like Wonder Girl's and Kid Flash's looks although they could be toned down a bit and some look completely ____ed. DC had to know this already going in that it won't be anyone's cup of tea. I mean is it really necessary to add wings to every bird named character or make Harley Quinn a Suicide Girl or even include Rob Liefeld?

5. DC misled fans into thinking it was a reboot by their first glimpses to the media and allowing people to think it was that way because that was how it's being reported. Now they are riding that wave of hatred and trying to set the record straight but the thing is if Superman is 22 instead of early 40s for example then it's a reboot. If ____ing Conner Kent is a goddamn Android then it is a reboot. It's just not a complete reboot.

6. Most importantly it's has 75 years of history that will somewhat be wiped out for the sake of new readers. Which means you are going to have people hurt because they are fans. Remember when Sideshow went to Twitter and Facebook for the majority of their contests and giveaways in order to get new fans instead of their own homepage or even here for the established fans? People literally burst a ____ing gasket because the free stuff was going to Rosario so he could _____ about getting it because it wasn't enough. Same thing, people are thinking they are looking for Rosario who will just want a Michael Bay movie on paper and they'll willingly ____ over the character to get them because they think that fanboys like myself will blindly follow.

I will admit that out of sheer curiosity I might pick up more books than I originally did but I have a feeling that come September when this obvious gimmick is in full swing the venom will be massive all over the place.

I really like the dynamic between Batman and Superman. I don't see how they can keep that with a 22 year old Superman and a what, late 30's early 40's?, Batman. Bats will just see Supes as a young idealist and Supes will see Bats as a crochety geezer instead of understanding and appreciating the strengths and weakneses they each have, and how they counterbalance it in one another.
