You must have been weaned on early Image-era 90s comics. I find most people who like Lee's art fall into that category.

I am a big spawn fan and actually own the right to make a short film based on the character at the moment but Lee's stuff there was a pass for me

The new forum can be used to have a separate thread for different titles (if there is enough interest).

Read Nightwing & JLA #7 today, enjoyed both although I really need to read through my back catalogue of Batman 1-7 now that the arc is breaching over to other titles (I skipped the ending of Nightwing because of this)

I enjoyed JLA, didn't mind the art work, still not sure about the group dynamics though but I'll stick with it :)

read nightwing and batman #7 in sequence, and OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

:lecture Agree. I read Batman #7 and then Nightwing #7 right after, really went well together. Two awesome issues. Batman just gets better and better.

I should have stuck with All-Star Western.

Looks like the book is going to have the Court of Owls in it by issue 10

That was already hinted at back in issue 6. I thought it was pretty obvious anyway. A room full of
owls is kind of a give away

My LCS is still out of stock on Batman #7. I really might have to swing by TRU and see if they've got it in yet. For some reason they carry a few current comics and Batman is one of them!

I don't read the book, just caught a tid-bit in previews that made me wish I stuck with it (I quit after the couple issues).

Just got a ____load of titles to read. #2s to the most recent issue from Batman, Batgirl, Dark Knight, Batman & Robin, Nightwing, Batwoman, JLA, Swamp Thing, Green Lantern, Guardians, Wonder Woman, Action, Red Lanterns, Animal Man, Deathstroke, Aquaman, Flash & Suicide Squad. Did I miss any good ones beside All Star Western? Sounds extremely geeky but I'm pumped on catching up. :rotfl:lol:rotfl

nah man, the titles you mentioned are awesome.. especially batman, swamp thing, animal man, and aquaman.... ive also liked suicide squad..

btw has anyone read pain and prejudice miniseries? i thought it was amazing.

Just finished Animal Man, Aquaman, Deathstroke, Suicide Squad & Swamp Thing.

Swamp Thing & Animal Man are so far the best, while Aquaman & Deathstroke are also good books just not as good. Suicide Squad on the other hand sucks in my opinion.

Pain and Prejudice miniseries was incredible! :hi5:

Animal Man is amazing hey? Batman is outstanding too. I dropped Suicide Squad after a couple issues and havnt looked back. Glad I'm missing nothing.

Just finished reading Superman #7 and that's me now done with the title, more often than not I don't understand what the hell is going on but was willing to finish the first arc and see if things improved in the second but it hasn't

I did enjoy Flash #7 though, keep finding reasons not to give up on that title

Yeah it is but I like Swampy better. Suicide Squad pales in comparison with the Secret Six, there's nothing edgy or amusing about it at all. Plus the retelling of Harley's origin is just so unimaginative compared to her original one.

Just finished with Action Comics & Flash. Action started out real good but with the inclusion of the Legion just got convuluted fast & just made me tune out. The Flash on the other hand is a feast for the eyes & the story isn't bad either. On to Green Lantern & Batman! :rock

I've actually really liked suicide squad so far. I like that nobody (besides Deadshot and Harley, who I doubt is on the team much longer) is safe from getting killed off. Makes things more interesting when you know the 'good guys' aren't always going to come out of the fight alive. :dunno
