Well to be fair dc has all its characters and aren’t just doing villian movies to hold onto the rights and they have no ties to the actual characters they are tied to.

WB and Sony are both terrible studios but in this case bane and death stroke could work in whatever universe they are making whereas Sony just churns those crap movies out yo hold onto the Spider-Man rights
