Awesome list, batman. I'll check out those comics, too. So far, I've only been collecting The New 52.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Here's a photo I found on the Arkhamverse site showing close ups of each of the AO Figure's heads. Black Mask and Joker look great.

Not sure if this picture is the same ones people have been trying to upload here, if it is I'm sorry.:lol

I believe these are 2up's though, the retail figures will have sloppier paint and less detail I think.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

There is a "Road to Arkham" comic which serves as a prequel to Arkham Asylum. It was written by Paul Dini with art by Carlos D'anda (who is responsible for the awesome character bio artwork in Arkham Asylum) It was released as a pre-order bonus for Amazon customers who purchased the game, and as a digital release available exclusively for Sony's Playstation Portable console.

There was a 5 issue miniseries connecting AA to AC titled "Batman: Arkham City," again, written by Paul Dini and featuring artwork by Carlos D'anda. In addition to that, there was a 7 issue digital only book. However, the trade paperback edition of the miniseries collected both the miniseries and the digital series in print.

Following that, there was the Batman: Arkham Unhinged digital first series. It is currently on its 58th chapter and is still going; most likely until the Arkham Origins tie-in series is released. This series has been collected in print form and is currently on its 15th issue.

There was also a 6 chapter digital comic which, I believe was something of an epilogue to Arkham City titled Batman: Arkham City: End Game. I believe it was collected as a one-shot print edition.

As I said earlier, there is also an Arkham Origins series on the way.

Here's the full list (along with links to purchase the books):
Batman: Road to Arkham (your best bet is eBay or Amazon, unless you have a PSP or Vita)

Batman: Arkham City ($3.99 per issue; 5 issues; also available digitally via Comixology)

Batman: Arkham City ($.99 per chapter; 7 chapters; digital exclusive available via Comixology)

Batman: Arkham City Hardcover ($22.99; collects 5 issue miniseries and 7 chapter digital series in a single Hardcover volume; available at Warner Bros. Online Shop)

Batman: Arkham City ($16.99; collects 5 issue miniseries and 7 chapter digital series in a single trade paperback volume; available at Amazon)

Batman: Arkham Unhinged ($.99 per chapter; 58 chapters and counting; available via Comixology)

Batman: Arkham Unhinged (print edition) ($3.99 per issue; 15 issues and counting; available wherever comics are sold)

Batman: Arkham Unhinged Volume 1 Hardcover ($22.99; collects issues #1-5 of the print editions; available at Amazon)

Batman: Arkham Unhinged Volume 1 Trade Paperback ($14.99; collects issues #1-5 of the print editions; available to pre-order at Amazon)

Batman: Arkham Unhinged Volume 2 Hardcover ($22.99; collects issues #6-10 of the print editions; available to pre-order at Amazon)

Batman: Arkham City: End Game ($.99 per chapter; 6 chapters; available via Comixology)

Batman: Arkham City: End Game One-Shot ($6.99; collects all 6 chapters of the digital series in print; available wherever comics are sold)

Damn, that was time consuming.:lol
Wow... thanks for all the detailed help, didn't know there was that much material. Kinda upsetting I won't be able to read some because it was an old Pre-Order giveaway/PS3 exclusive.

Really, thanks for all the help. :) Sorry if I don't seem that grateful, I really am, just upset about a figure that just broke. :(

Anyone ever have a figure break? I just had my first, and I'm more upset about it than a grown man should be. It was the Series 3 Batman, I haven't had him long but he was one of my favourite.

Just a few hours ago I noticed his leg had gone wobbly and the peg in the knee had broken... Spent an hour trying to fix it but it was a fruitless effort. Anyone have any advice or have an extra Series 3 Batman they could sell me for a decent price?

I got him at my lcs and the receipt says all sales are final, so I'm pretty sure he won't help me and I'm pretty sure his distributor wouldn't take it back. I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for my clown thugs to arrive so I could pose Batman fighting them and now with my clown thugs coming tomorrow my Batman breaks....

Why the hell does DCC use CLEAR plastic with their figures? It's not at strong as normal plastic.

Honestly, I like the Mattel Batman more, the DCC has a weird honeycomb look... The Mattel looks more like the game from what we've seen. I'm unsure if I'll collect the Origins figures.

This series is still as awesome as I remember, at least from what I was able to find online.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

So how do you guys plan to display your AO figures? On their own or intermingled with the other lines?

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Thanks for posting that, it was really interesting to read. After I get the last 6 figures I need I'll start going after the comics.

Love your signature by the way. I'm always defending that show... I love it, just like I love the Arkham Series.

As for the Origins figures, I'm unsure if I want to buy them. I'm pretty sure I'll really like the game and the story it tells in the Arkham universe, but I don't know, the designs are as appealing to be as City and Asylum. I like them, a lot, they just don't appeal to me enough to buy the figures. If I buy just a couple Origins figures it'll be Black Mask, and if DCC makes Penguin and Deathstroke, possibly Deadshot too. I mean the Joker figure looks really nice, I like how he looks, I'm just not sure where'd I'd put him. It's like I'd need a whole other setup just for Origins.

I'm not buying any of the figures until I get the game and finish it, besides Black Mask, I want him to go with my other Arkham Rogues since they won't make one based on his awesome design in City most likely.

Just finished my new display, only missing 6 figures now.

WOW! Awesome setup man :hi5:. I wish i started to seriously collect these from the beginning.I was always aware that they were out and i even bought a couple but i only really became comitted to the line after i got titan joker (Best Arkham figure IMO).I wish they were sold in my area.I am really looking for Scarecrow,Harley Quinn (Preferably Arkham Asylum),Penguin,Zsasz and a Joker (Preferably SDCC exclusive).I recently got a great deal for Croc and Freeze so they should be here any day now.Really looking forward to Grundy, the twins, and the AO figures.Really want Deathstroke though.

Thanks man. :) I should've dusted a bit better, but I was more worried about getting the figures back up on display. :lol

Yeah, I just got lucky because I got into these figures around my birthday so a lot of the gift money I got went to these, found some really good deals that equaled out to 10-12 a figure on about 10 of them. I really want to get the last Asylum figures I need but I'm waiting for the rereleases here soon. So that'll be a good chance for you to get them. ;) I don't know when I'll pick up Titan Joker, but I'm not sure where I'll put him... Probably somewhere off to the side of this display. Well Penguin's coming with one of the twins if you don't mind the missing umbrella and cigar, and all the others are coming back out here in a month or so except Zsasz. But they may be selling a City version instead. I wish the twins, Grundy, and the Bane pack would be coming out sooner.... Isn't it like the end of this year almost?

I'm not sure about the Arkham Origins figures, I'll just have to wait and see.

So I only need Scarecrow, Asylum Harley, Armoured Batman, Original Bane, Detective Mode Batman, Nightwing, and Titan Joker... I'm worried I won't be able to get the Bane, I don't really need it but it'd be the last figure I'd need, and I'd like to have one with the rouges and the other with the Asylum outfits. Maybe someone will sell theirs off closer to when the new one comes out. ;)

Anybody looking to sell their collection? I just started collecting this line, and it's tedious to find all the figures :monkey2

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

Pics of my current setup of the Arkhamverse... No I dont buy variant Batmans, but I do buy the same figure if they have major changes reflect each different games (Harley/Batman)

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

That looks really good.

Part of me would like to do that, but I just love the look of all the Rouges together.

I'll have the Asylum versions off to the side with the Asylum Joker. Harley and Bane will look nice there when I get them. And I'll have the new deluxe Bane with the rest.

I'm only missing 6 figures that have been released already, anyone who could help me out feel free. :)

(Sorry for reposting this picture, the original stopped working.)

Pics of my current setup of the Arkhamverse...

Love the setup axecutioner!

I like how you've seperated yours into AA/AC with the game guides as backdrops. They look awesome.

Love your setup too Penguin!

Looks great with all the multi-levels. Will look even more awesome once you manage to get hold of the other figures you need!

Hey sfa, how do you plan to display the AO figures? Are you going to build a different display or show them off with the other figure lines?

Thanks so much guys! Great setup too Penguin! And man SFA what can I say. With the diorama you made, HOW just HOW can you NOT have THE BEST display for these guys!!

Im waiting on the Deluxe Bane to sort this guy, out BTW I was wondering the Batman that comes with the Deluxe Bane is a repaint of the Arkham Asylum bats, is it more accurate to the game in anyway? as in Im wondering if I should replace this one with that... In one hand itll add more continuity in a way for the colour but again the game had that bluer vibe compared to its successor

Also Im at a fix of what to do when Arkham origins comes out... should I place it in order of 'prequel' canon or order of game release

Hey sfa, how do you plan to display the AO figures? Are you going to build a different display or show them off with the other figure lines?

I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I've decided that I'm just going to have to make 3 smaller seperate dios - one for each game. It's gonna mean cutting down the one I just made unfortunately, but hopefully the display will look great with 3 smaller dios!

Thanks axecutioner!! :) as you can read above though my newest dio might only last a few more months unfortunately. Oh well it's a good job I enjoy the creating process :lol

I do think the upcoming 2 pack AA Batman repaint may be a little better in terms of the cowl, cape, gloves etc all matching. But having said that I do have a fondness for the original version so I may end up displaying that one over the new repaint.

As for your Origins display dilemma, I've been thinking about that myself too. I'd ideally like to have them in chronological order, but due to the unusual space I have I may have to display them in game order if I want 3 seperate dios.

Re: DC Collectibles - Batman: Arkham figure series (Origins,Asylum,City)

penguin, if you painted those shelves black theyd look 10x better. nice collection man. keep up the nice work.
