DCC - Batman: Arkham Figure Series (Origins, Asylum, City, Knight)

I decided to re-purpose Anarky's accessory and give Firefly some flames! I glued it to his flame-thrower, and I think he looks so much more awesome now

Just got the AK Nightwing figure today, loving it so far only one gripe as of this moment. His escrima sticks are a ***** to actually get in his hands at first.

Yesterday I got the Nightwing, Robin and Gordon from the new wave. All 3 are great figures, packed with articulation, even Gordon is articulated enough to do a martial arts kick, and get into all sorts of poses. Robin has great accessories, and looks awesome holding the shield and staff. Robin's only weaknesses are his bland head sculpt, and the hood.

Nightwing is solid all around, I haven't really got any complaints about him. My favourite is Gordon, because getting good figures of him is relatively rare. His articulation is great for his character. My only complaint regarding Gordon is his pistol is too small and lacking detail. I just put it in his holster and gave him a more serious gun out of my spares. I wish he had of come with the .50 Desert Eagle he was shown holding in the prototype.

Catwoman will be dropping at my LCS next week, I'll update you guys on what she's like when I get her.

Does anybody know where I could get the GameStop Red Hood outside the US at a decent price? The prices of it on amazon and ebay are quite high.

Robin looks really "meh" to me, and I was really hyped for the figure. Theres something about the face thats really throwing me off.

But I cannot wait for Red Hood 1.0

It figures the moment I try to bend the elbow of my newly acquired Gordon figure, it snaps off. Ugh...just contacted customer service and hope to hear from them soon

My comic shop got in Catwoman but I have her on order with Nightwing, Robin, Gordon, and the latest Origins 3-pack. The single figures $18, and the 3pack cheaper than retail.

So who do we think will be in Wave 4? I'm thinking Deacon Blackfire and Poison Ivy are pretty sure bets. Maybe a new Penguin or Firefly? I'd reallllly like Alfred though!

Picked up my Catwoman today during my lunch break, got to pick the best one out of 4 that they had. I was going to pick up Gordon, Robin, and Nightwing but I have them coming for $18 each.


I'd love to get Deacon, a much better poseable Ivy, and a Alfred. I wouldn't mind a Penguin, Firefly if they can give him more articulation compared to the origins one.


I think I'm gonna get another Catwoman later to replace the old Arkham City one. Might mod the head alittle.

Ironically, I just heard back from them today. I resent the list to them with some alterations. Now we just wait.

None of wave two are officially out in the UK yet (only one or two eBay sellers have them right now), but the sad thing is that the delay for these isn't really bothering me.

I think it's down to a combination of the game being underwhelming with not many new characters to get excited about for figures (plus the new characters it did have were woefully underused with poor gameplay), and also the fact the Animated series line is going strong right now - and that line is much more of a grail line for me.

I'll still get all the Arkham figures they release, even in the future, but I'm just not excited about them right now. I think only a new (good) game in the franchise could ignite my passion for the line again. That or new City figures like Ivy, Zsasz, Black Mask and Calendar Man.

The Arkham line is the only series of Batman figures that has ever allowed me to even come close to a complete Rogues gallery of figures, which is why I have collected most of them. I didn't get all of the Arkham Asylum and City figures, so a lot of these Arkham Knight figures have been excellent for my collection. I'm particularly excited for Wave 3 for Man Bat and Professor Pyg. I will probably buy the Azrael as well, as it looks to be a massive improvement over the city figure. Until the Arkham Knight figures, I hadn't really been interested in the other Bat-family characters, but I picked up all of Wave 2 because they were all such excellent versions of each character.

I know it wont happen, but it would be really cool if the new Red Hood 1.0 figure came with an alternate broken helmet head like this.

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but maybe try Obitsu stands? I have a few and they're good enough for me, I haven't tried it on any of my Arkham figs but it holds Marvel Select figures quite nicely.


I would really like Jason Todd Robin figure but I know it probably won't happen.

The Obitsu stand for Firefly worked out great, though keeping his wings on are a pain in the ass. Does anyone know what the next major toy convention DCC is going to attend? Also, how long should we wait before discussing the potential figures out of the Season Of Infamy DLC?
