Really Dave? Really. The word "classic" means nothing and you focused on the whole statement? :lol

Okay. Since the classic costuming is blue this will be the only one ever made.:D

$89.99 is not worth it for this figure. I saw that price on the 2 new DCD Dark Knight 1/6 figures of Batman and The Joker. I was happy I got mine for only $50 each.
:chew

I just don't get an implication of another outfit even in the works from the wording of the description.

I think it is more implied since they have done "classic" and "modern" versions of Superman and Batman and called them by those terms already.

Edit: Forgot the Batgirl versions too although one is labeled classic and one is labeled variant. Robin is also labeled as classic implying a modern version is possible as well.

Agreed. Those terms have already become aligned with the variant idea.

I too was wanting the modern look but I'll take this costume as it is my second favorite version. Now where is my Wonder Woman DCD?

Very fair question...I thought the intention to make her was announced quite awhile back, but nothing every materialized? Does anyone else remember this?

One of the DC guys has said in interviews that the 13" Wonder Woman will be released in 2009 and that they are spending a lot of time to get her right. I would guess that there may be something shown during SDCC if that is the case.

Wondy is that last really big gun for this line. I'm not surprised that they are testing out different things on multiple female characters before her. I would wager that if you look at each female release there is something that they are testing out and seeing if it works that will end up on Diana.

Well, the Supergirl really does look better than their last few female figures, but DCD's 13" line as a whole could use some tweaks.
