the point of this trailer was to announce the game and to get people talking about it. So irrespective of gameplay or not, this trailer has been a 100% success

Meh. I'll go with what the original makers of the film(28 Days Later) define their creations as: "infected."

They are not dead, but infected with a virus. And correct me if I'm wrong, but you never actually SEE any of the infected actually eat humans, do you? I thought they just tore through them(ripping out chunks, ripping off limbs, etc.), but not actually eating them. Also, besides running(Thanks Snyder), the infected from 28 Days/Weeks Later do not need a head shot to go down. Just a vast amount of trauma to the body.

It's been awhile...so I could be wrong on some of these. Need to go back and watch them. Both 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, zombie movies or not, are awesome.

Devil is right, the Zombieland's Zombies are infected and are not dead, yet the movie is called Zombieland

Zombieland's zombies died after being infected and reanimated. Remember the scene with his neighbor?

In 28 Days/Weeks, we see them get infected and over the course of several seconds, they become insane cannibals. They still die the same way as any human though.

Yea I was going to say I remember her being bitten and then when they wake up BAM! Zombie. I would classify Zombieland Zombies as more traditional zombies.

She did not die, she became infected by a new strain of Mad Cow disease

No they ate them. That's what they lived off of and why they eventually starved to death leading up to the sequel 28 Weeks Later.

Jeez already they annouced a movie for this game. Just by that trailer this game has gained that much hype and i think it will live up to it.

1.) Don't agree with Devin Faraci! :moon

2.) I Don't have a problem with them using a CGI trailer to promote the game without actual gameplay footage involved. However, I would prior to purchasing want to see some actual gameplay footage. :lecture

3.) Infected or Undead, they're all zombies to me. :nana: :lol

Well they did show some gameplay footage 3 and a half years ago :lol

I hope there's an unkillable super zombie that rests at the heart of the island and the only way to stop it is to trap it in its cave lair with a magic drain plug.

Then the characters discover that they were stuck in limbo the whole time.

Maybe they'll be like the zombies in Return of the Living Dead that run, tell you they're gonna eat your brains and worst of all you can't kill them unless you disintergrate them :lol.

I always thought it was shame that Possession got cancelled.
It would have been cool to control Zombies
