Dead Rising: Case Zero Delayed

Dead Rising: Case Zero was supposed to be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow, so it was natural to assume that the game would make its scheduled August 31st date without any problems.

Wrong! Capcom's Japanese HQ has issued a statement declaring that the game will be delayed, which will presumably affect the Western release too.

No reason was given for the delay and rather annoyingly, Capcom neglected to give a new release date for the XBLA title, which acts as a demo and narrative prequel for Dead Rising 2.

Dead Rising: Zero will be out who-knows-when then, but will still cost 400 Microsoft Points. Dead Rising 2 meanwhile, is out in late-September.

You may have read this morning that Dead Rising 2: Case Zero has been delayed in Japan, and I can confirm that this is true. However, Case Zero will be releasing tomorrow as planned here in the West.

Once again, the Japanese delay does not affect the release date for NA and European territories.

Yes right after it turns nightfall he signals you to tell you that he saw his daughter run into a shop.
