Kinda wish I could have the Zealot Force gun for when I start my hard core playthrough.

Yeah, I like using the force gun as well. I have the zealot one from buying the CE so I'll use that one like I have been. Beating it on hard core is all I have left at this point.

Though...either one, I think the answer is yes. It sure seemed that way.

I only need two more trophies for the platinum.

Kinda wish I could have the Zealot Force gun for when I start my hard core playthrough.

The force gun is great but you dont really need it. I just used my second save on chapter 13 and I'm only using the plasma cutter, pulse rifle and contact beam. If you can try to upgrade the alternate fire completely on the contact beam, it adds stasis to the shockwave. Trust me the CB will save you if you find yourself surrounded.

Alhtough I loved the contact beam in DS1, during my first playthrough of DS2 I didn't even have it equipped for the most part because the Force Gun's alt-fire had a fairly similar effect at full damage. It wasn't until the very end that I thought the CS was very handy to have.

But I will have it on hand for my hardcore playthrough this weekend.

Hardcore ...... I dont even want to try Zealot. Got 900 GS on my 1.5 time normal run is good enough for me. I did surprise 2 actually better than 1.

I'd say around 8 or 9. Remember, you get that nice little checkpoint after the disc swap, Which happens at the end of Ch.6.

yeah, You'll feel like a huge weight has lifted once the disc swap happens. Just note it acts like a checkpoint, not a save.
