Detolf and other shelving systems

Hey guys,

For anyone who owns detolfs, is it possible to display Sideshow's premium format figures on the top? Or would it be to heavy for the unit?

I had my Indiana Jones PF on top of a Detolf for a good 6 months at one point and it was fine.

Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking the lighter premium formats would be ok, but i think I'm weary of putting Hulk or Abomination on the detolfs. They weigh a solid 50 pounds each! Or do you guys think that would be ok?

I have the 1:1 Wolf Predator Bust on one and it holds up fine.

So instead of the Detolf or the Billy Book case I was thinking about using a Besta to display my 1/6th collection. Has anyone tried this?

I noticed that I can replace the shelves with glass ones and I can also put on some nice glass doors.

The other advantage appears to be that there isn't any shelf locked in place and I can basically have free reign to get about 5 shelves into one of those cases.
