Where I live there are no Ikea's and I would really like to display my figures and statues. I can get one delivered but it will be 175.00 , my question is are the detolf's really that awesome to pay 3x msrp. I do have a furniture storw in town where I could find something maybe comparable. Thanks for all your time

I paid $150 shipped for each of mine (I have two), and I really like them. But unless you have a truck, and can find something on Craigslist, I'm not sure you'll find a better deal than that for a comparable product. I've looked around, and haven't found anything. Some Curio cabinets can be bought for $500-600 plus tax and shipping costs, but that's the cost of around 4 Detolfs, even at jacked up prices.

I got 2 for 300.00 just bit the bullet and got them. I really dont have time searching for stuff, im lazy. I will just make my wife work overtime, lol j/k. Thanks for the replies.

The first thing to ask is, what does your collection consist of? What will you be displaying on these? Before we steer you to spending good money, we should be helping you choose the right shelves for your collection.

I only display smaller statues, 12" figures and prop replicas in Detolf. Anything larger gets a Besta. A few of my items do sit in an Expedit. Especially lsb's. The lsb's look really great in the window of an Expedit.
