this is an interesting topic. Joost is a great guy and always quick in communication.
He loves what he does, what you can see at the quality of his products.
I own the large death star hallway and was stunned when i saw it for the first time. What i really like about is the versatility you are able to display your 1/6 figures. You can drop in all the good guys, bad guys, build up a scene about a jailbraik or one where 4 Stormtroopers escort han solo in carbonite. This was my main reason why i jumped on this train with one of joost last production batches.
This is also the main reason why i would not jump on every true scale diorama. A carbonite Chamber would look awesome, but it is what it is, a on scene diorama. Not so many options to display it different.
So if you go for an other true scale diorama, imho. should be this your main question: How many options does the customer have to display it?
The detolov size diorama looks great as well, but for me it does not fit the right dimension to display my figures probable.
Have you ever think about to make some nice looking accessory. Maybe barrels, cargo boxes, etc.. ? I guess their could be a demand of this as well?.
and like always, just my two cents....
Lots of great thoughts and ideas here. I would have to think about display options, but they are mostly going to be limited. In the carbon chamber, it's either the freezing scene or Luke facing vader. With the Tantive IV entry way, it's either the episode IV battle or Darth Vader entering it in Rogue one. (or come to think of it, the end of Revenge of the Sith). The emperor Throne room can only be used for the final scenes of ROTJ. So by that measure, only the Death Star is really that versatile. It is something to think about though. The TruScale DX series are always going to be more limited and I have to believe there are always at least a few dozen potential buyers out there in the world.
I also like you accessory ideas! I'm going to ponder options there
