That was one of the best trailers I've seen in a while. Different from the norm. It looks great imo , I'm a fan of M.Night's work. Sure he had a few crap movies but I loved Signs , Unbreakable and the Sixth Sense.

To be clear, Shyamalan is only producing this one, and came up with the story. It's directed by the guy that did Quarantine.

i agree. Of all the filmmakers right now, I put him on top of my list as a great filmmaker.

I don't like the current Shyamalan and I didn't like Quarantine, so this movie is in the 'pensively pessimistic' category for me.

Trailer was slickly made, though.

M. Night is one of the worst filmmakers of the last 10 years. However, I think this is largely due to his inability to collaborate - this is the sort of film that he could be involved with that could be quite good. The trailer certainly looks good, so it has potential.

In my opinion he has become almost as bad as Uwe Boll. :lecture

You sure you understand what 'hyperbole' means? There is no exaggeration in either of the statements you quoted - in my opinion, he is one of the worst directors of the last ten years, no exaggeration. And I don't think it's much of an exaggeration to compare him to the equally (but for different reasons) awful Boll.
